Yes, Frank Luca did well to land this fight...... Crown Boxing.. The company that brought us the complete final chapter of Oliver McCalls career.... Evander will do a job on Francois..
The Warrior looked real good, and he didn't complain once on Bothas rabbit punches from what I could gather. All in all, a very nice fight, I'd love to see it again if the money is right. :smoke
Unfortunately Botha was still not in the shape needed to go past the 6th round, before that he was doing so well. i had him up in almost every round until 5th Is this the end of the line for the Buffalo? He gave his all as always, i thought the stoppage was a bit quick!? Is he going to have one more go with some lesser opposition? A fight with Golota might be a good idea? I think he said post fight he was going to sit down and discuss the future with his team. I should have got a rematch clause lol!!
Having thought about his fight with Holyfield i think he needs to search out one more opponent to have in one last good fight. Golota still springs to mind but Rahman also seems like a good option. Of course it could be possible he has another run on the WBF title once evander has gone on to bigger things or even he gets a rematch which!!! Anyway it think Frans should have one last match to go out on!!! Any ideas anyone?
Hey its been a while and no word on Holyfield or Botha. But the older heavyweight seems to be holding out well. With Briggs on a good run, Tua still in the frame it is a good time to watch for a 90's heaveyweight fan like myself. However it would be nice to see if Botha or Holyfield is actuallually going on for another bout. I hope for a rematch but i doubt that will happen!
Botha makes for fun and entertaining fights. A Briggs rematch would be good, so would a fight with Rahman, Harrison, Meehan, Brewster, or even Valuev. But all things considered I would just like to see the White Buffalo ride out on a win at this point.
