This really could be Botha's last fight! Never heard him talking about this before. But for me i dont see it happening in this fight. I think he will win it.

 

Cheers for the update zxcvbnm. I havent been able to find much news about the Buffalo for a while hence the quiteness in here but that sure seems like a good fights for both fighters! I hope i can get the fight oniline.

News for the Botha fights seem to come like london buses. As i looked through the bbc website i found this. Looks like Botha has two fights lined up. And if he doesnt win this one he needs to retire asap!!!

All Blacks star Williams to fight Francois Botha

New Zealand rugby star Sonny Bill Williams will fight former heavyweight contender Francois Botha in Durban on 17 November, according to a promoter.

Promoter Thinus Strydom said arrangements for the bout, which is scheduled for Durban on 17 November, were concluded this week.

All Blacks wing Williams is the New Zealand heavyweight champion.

Botha, 43, has fought Mike Tyson, Lennox Lewis, Evander Holyfield and Wladimir Klitschko in a 59-bout career.

Asked earlier this year about a possible fight against Williams, Botha told South African newspaper Rapport he would do it "during half-time of a rugby match" with "one hand tied behind my back".

The 27-year-old Williams helped New Zealand beat Australia on Saturday but is quitting the All Blacks to play rugby union in Japan next season.

Since 2009 he has boxed five times, winning all of his bouts.

 

Could be a good month for us then, or a very bad one!!

Here is some pictures from the press conference for Botha vs Pianeta (Taken from Fightnews website). Botha looks in pretty good shape in the pictures and his arms look pretty massive but weather that is all muscle or too much fat we will find out. Noone seems to have pressed this Pianeta hard yet but im hoping Botha can test that green chin of his. Will await the results of the weigh in with great interest.

Botha Vs Sonny Bill Williams at the weekend for the WBA international title. Botha claims to have lost alot of weight. I think he should win this. But he needs to win by KO or its going to go against him. Thoughts anyone?
