People from big boxing countries rarely have to travel.

Guys from Denmark, Ireland,Philipines, Panama, Cameroon, Ghana etc, HAVE to travel to get big fights and gain recognition.

The only country in the world where you dont really have to travel in America, and in the higher divisions Germany.

Even British fighters who fight at home for the most part, tend to HAVE to leave for big fights eventually.

Ideally everyone would like to fight at home everytime.

Guys fight abroad because theres more money there.

If there isnt more money abroad, why leave?

I do agree that if they can earn more money at home, why leave. Its a short career etc.
When you say Denmark, I believe M Kessler has been successful in Denmark, though dont know for sure if he makes more there or not
