Good point. But, he did at times against Gamboa and Jean. I think he sensed they couldn't hurt him. So, he just took one to give 2. But, I think Broner could hurt him with a clean shot like Jean landed. I think he would and should be, as you said, more "meticulous with a capital "M" in his attack" against Broner.
