Are we all agreed that if Haye had been a few years younger he would have destroyed bellew??

 

It took Bellew eleven to get a shot hobbling Haye out of there, prime Haye Adonis Stevensons him.

 

I think Bellew has said the same recently to be fair.

 

Why does Bellew receive so much hate from people for having a good relationship with Hearn? Having read about Bellew's career it's understandable. I may be wrong but I heard he had issues when Warren promoted him and his career wasn't really going anywhere. Hearn got him a World Title shot at Goodison Park which was his dream, even though it was empty and on short-notice. They then did the 2 Haye fights which set up Bellew for life, before he got the opportunity to fight possibly the greatest fighter of this generation in Usyk for the Undisputed titles. Hearn and Matchroom have even offered him a job as a regular TV pundit on DAZN.

Of course Bellew would be extremely close to Hearn. Obviously Bellew deserves 99.9% of the credit for getting in the ring, but without Hearn and Matchroom he'd likely be a nobody in the celebrity world and would be working a job.

 

There's good relationship and there's nuzzling Hearn's balls at every opportunity. Bellend is very much the latter.
