They did seem like just two regular businessmen congratulating one another after having accomplished a business venture didn't they. MW telling him that it had been a lot of fun was a bit too obvious as was his wink at a ringside commentator immediately before deciding to pick up the pace during the fight. Conveys something akin to a staged performance when you do things like that. Weakens the suspension of disbelief which is essential to fully enjoy it as a legitimate sport's event devoid of all participant collusion.
Have to agree with you. He's always yelling which is annoying. Wish they would replace him. Paulie knows what he's talking about & Al is a veteran and is pretty good also.
yes like I said from the start the whole thing was a farce to the public and basically stole money out of the peoples pockets but whatever I guess. Mayweather will probably be broke again in 2-3 years.
I have no idea how that guy calls MMA fights. He might be great at that, but I just felt like he was biased against Mayweather. Maybe those were the orders he received from Showtime and surely Paulie was told to keep in non-biased, but there were instances where there was some truth in what both people said, yet the attitude was to completely ignore what Paulie was saying. It is what it is. I think Mayweather put on a vintage performance expected of Mayweather. I saw him dominate the fight. As soon as the third round, McGregor was in panic mode, which is why he kept rabbit punching. The first round, McGregor had a sense of false confidence that actually stunned Mayweather due to Mayweather's look of incredulous. After the second round, McGregor knew he had to get desperate, so he did. That's why I give McGregor maybe the first round, but only because he still had confidence after that round.
Look at that little **** weasel pooping himself. And that's when Cro Cop was a killer. Literally! A trained killer. Lol To be fare though he most likely still is.
Have to agree. He's always annoyed me too. I'll tell you who was GOOD: Bas Rutten + Steven Quadros. Not only were they funny, but very informative as well.
Ranallo originally came from pro wrestling so he brought that over dramatic commentary style with him into MMA and later kickboxing/boxing. Not one of my favourite commentators but I've always thought he was ok.
