He was the GOAT. I just remembered this quote from the 'worst posts ever' thread: 'If anything, Lacy exposed Calzaghe'.
it wasnt pointless as you asked me to post on here so instead of just blanking you i told you id had a look and said ill have a think over my thoughts. not really pointless to be fair your post was pretty pointless too in fact this post is pointlessly pointless. im confused now
I effectively said 'do you have any extra ones'. What a pointless reply to an initial pointless post. Completely pointless all of that. Anything pointless to add? Utterly pointless.
wow you confused me big time look too many threads go off topic here this is going to be an exception
Brian Sutherland looked like a contender in the making untill he met Kenny Rainford, he never fought again after that brutal encounter. I guess the world will never know how far he could have gone: [YT]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6iswvwuZc18
I'd have to say Mike Tyson. He was dynamite up until winning the title but he went dramatically downhill after that. I know he still won and even unified but, in truth, the Douglas loss had been coming for a while. It's interesting that in his recent documentary film (which is great btw) he says he lost his hunger even BEFORE he won the title, when Cus D'Amato died. It's clear that without D'Amato's guidance Tyson went off the rails and that, coupled with sacking trainer Kevin Rooney led to an inevitable decline.
You could argue that Lennox went off the boil after winning the title on two occassions. Complacency set in and he got upset by McCall and Rahman.
