Yeah he was slowing down Usyk with those body shots & also when he took charge & punched first rather than waiting too much,

He would have to flick his jab only for Usyk to be lured in allowing him to hit him with a hard shot in return.

When Usyk faints AJ needs to move back with his legs & move his head this time around & agree with him being was too stiff and limited in foot movement.

Yep josh has never been a big puncher, unless he’s in with shot to pieces old midgets. fury wilder USKY Joyce Ortiz Dubois and arguably whyteleafe all hit harder than the bodybuilder based on the evidence and the all important acute eye test

Hey everyone. When I was in Las Vegas at the MGM sport books the odds were in Joshua's favor. I mentioned it on one of the threads that CST80 gave me some betting advice on for a fight. Usyk is getting the Big Chicken Dinner (British home cooking) if this fight is in the UK.
I'm serious too. He can't mess up that Joshua vs Fury money. He will go in there and fight like Tim Bradley did in Pacquiao 3 fight. You might as well get mad now and get it over with.
I'm not calling the English cheaters but, there's multi millions on the line and they can't blow it on some non-popular guy. Usyk is good but he does not have a base of fans that's big enough to satisfy the greed of boxing. If it looks close, AJ wins.

At the same time, would they really rob a Ukrainian fighter at this moment in time?

Usyk stops Joshua this time there won’t be any judges cards needed. It should have been a 12th round stoppage in the first fight if it was not for the home cooking as Joshua’s corner was waving the towel to stop the fight but it was ignored by the ref.

    Skills pay the bills

AJ has only one physical advantage that he can utilize that is his raw power...which historically is no damn use.

He doesn't know how to use his weight or size to wear Usyk's stamina down and his own stamina is so poor it wouldn't mater anyway.

If AJ had a little more nuance and quicker feet he could upset Usyk's rhythm and unsettle him a little but Usyk was comfortable throughout their 1st bout...after a couple of rounds Usyk actually just relaxed and slowed the pace because it was so easy, normally he has to fire on all cylinders because he's trying to keep a big man off him whilst moving.

It wasn't that long ago that people were saying Joshua was foolish for slugging it out with Ruiz and he really needs to learn a klitchsko approach of outside fighting etc etc etc. Now people are saying he was foolish for not just slugging it out against Usyk and he needs to go back to that. The truth is, he's probably just not as good as many of us thought.

No offense here friend, but how long have you been watching this sport?

The people who run this sport would kill half of Ukraine if it put money in their pockets.

AJ might be able to do it if he goes hell for leather early.

But if he fails to KO Usyk then I fancy he will get stopped himself after he gasses.

I'm well aware that the sport is corrupt as hell, but with national and global sympathy on Ukraine's side, I don't believe that any judges would have the balls to rob Usyk.

I could be and am probably wrong.

Joshua had very isolated success winning 3 rounds or so. He varied his attack a little and scored some hard right hands and his body work when used did damage

If he can get to the body earlier before gassing he may be able to slow usyk into an easier target and use his size

I dont know if 1 full camp with a new trainer can turn the tide unless he can do the crazy transformation he did for ruiz 2 then again ruiz showed up way out of shape

Alot needs to go right for Joshua

The ONLY success Joshua had all fight in USKY I was when he started throwing LEAD right hands during the mid rounds (6-8) and landed a handful flush which caught the feather fisted cruiserweight from the EAST off guard.

Credit goes to big josh for finding a lead right against a lefty, I’m not aware this advice came from his corner so he must have figured this out himself. Problem was USKY quickly adapted and gave him a new look from round nine and won the last four rounds with EASE. Shot old delboy Chisora gave USKY more to think about than josh did over twelve rounds.
