Sorry, only girls and little pussies like Nallege resort to kicking a man in the balls.

I do box, I dont need to prove myself to a looser pretender like yourself who would pose as a world champ yet has nothing better to do than posts in a forum. World champs dont spend all their time in the forums hating on Pac. :rofl

90% is a figure that has been thrown around by MMA for a long time, most notably the Gracies themselves. There's been a few research on the net to see if that is true, one study out of 300 fights confirmed it to be 72%...again that is one study and that is still an overwhelming figure. Certainly from streetfights ive seen happen, most do end up on the ground...

It was a good fight, but i have to agree with the people who say MMA marketing is like WWE, it's a bit stupid and makes the sport into a bit of a circus.

You cant tell some ignorant dimwits these things, there are morons on both sides (boxing & MMA) that are so obsessed with proving their favourite sport is better than the other that they refuse to admire the artistry that is clearly evident in both sports.

Actually, fighting is using any part of your body to your best strengths to beat an opponent.

If you do suck at striking but you wrestle the better striker down & snap his elbow joint to make him say `stop` or put him to sleep via choke hold... then you are the better fighter, thats undisputable surely.

Grappling might not be the KIND of fighting you like yourself but its still fighting.

I watched this last night and I found it exciting!

True there was a lot of times where nothing was happening but it makes sense sometimes that in MMA, the striking appears more tentative since you have to take into the account that once you come in your opponent can punch, kick, knee or flat out take you down, so there's a lot more to worry about. Machida showed patience and there's nothing wrong with that, once Evans showed an opening Machida just exploded and KTFO Evans.

Groundfighting in MMA is an acquired taste. When I first started watching MMA I was like "WTF, this is gay!". But once you appreciate how tactical groundfights are, it's pretty satisfying watching one of the suddenly pull of an arm bar or choke.

Still I'm more of a fan of the sweet science. Boxers, since they dont have to think about kicks or grapples, can concentrate on perfecting their punches. And boy when they perfect it, it is very sweet indeed!

This is an interesting phrase. What do you define as a true Jujitsu expert? There are numerous guys in MMA at the moment who when it comes to straight BJJ credentials absolutely smoke Royce.

I don’t mean to denigrate Royce. He was a skilled black level BJJ practitioner but he wasn’t truly top of the food chain elite. He was billed as the light-heavyweight champion of the world at UFC 1 but the truth was he’d never really won a tournament of substance in Brazil.

Nowadays there are numerous elite level BJJ guys competing in MMA.
