Molina is harder to outbox than Ginger.

And who's to say Alvarez would even beat Molina?

Do you think its a coincidence that GB has put Alvarez in with no hopers? They have alot LESS confidence in him than his pathetic groupies do.

They better hope to Christ that Shane has NOTHING left in the tank.

Xplosive is just mad because no one gives two shits about his boy Lara. Yet Canelo is the future face of boxing.

I don't think the talent pool in the sport will ever be THAT bad. Least I hope not.

We might not ever see another Floyd, or Roy, but they'll be PLENTY of guys to come along who are better than Alvarez.

If anybody has the talent and charisma to become the future face of boxing...... it'd be Broner. Who's just as young as Alvarez and waayyyy more talented.

There's alot of credit being thrown around for Lara for knocking out Ronald Hearns. Let's put it in perspective... it was Ronald Hearns. Before that, a first fight back from devastating KO Paul Williams. It's Ronald Hearns... Canelo's resume overall still trumps Lara's. If Alvarez fought Hearns, would the result in the end be any different? And if/when he did KO him, I bet there wouldn't be nearly as much fan fare.

Paul Williams (past it or not) is better than ANYBODY Canelo has faced. So is Molina.

Canelo's resume trumps Lara's my ass!

The version of Shitron that Canelo just beat is roughly about on Ronald Hearns level.

Lara would have blitzed Shitron in the similar fashion to how he did Hearns tonight.

    Canelo groupies are hilarious.

I'm sorry, I didn't understand that "groupie" bit you did. I was too busy counting the amount of former champions Lara has fought (looks like... only one). To give Lara this much credit for knocking out Ronald Hearns, you'd probably proclaim Alvarez the GOAT should he knock out Mosley if you weren't so biased in your hatred of him.

nice win....but hearns is seriously closer to an amateur at this stage that then Lara when he was an amateur....
hearns has no amateur fights, not one win of note...and gifted a garbage title **** from a garbage champ....
    nice win Lara..but move on

This win for Lara is only gaining this much acclaim not from the quality of the win, but rather the subjectively negative opinions people have of Alvarez. It's something similar to a type of "Great Hope", people just looking for something, overblowing things to find a way to justify the negative opinions. Even Lara knows this win wasn't that great.

Exactly, don't forget that after Molina beat Cintron the one who got a shot at Canelo was the loser.
