When new flavor of the month big punchers show up....the fanatics are always right behind until they get thoroughly outboxed.
Yea well said, they all put it on the line and styles makes fights. People like Mayweather type fighters I like Gatti type fighters but if they were all the same it would be boring.
I know that feel, bro:good Also, fake trash talk to "build a fight" then the guy wants to shake hands after the fight. Hate that sh*t:verysad
I think Barry and now Eddie are doing good things for British boxing, you can tell by the way Eddie Hearn acts around his boxers he cares and gets emotionally involved. Hopefully he and kalle sauerland can work together more and bring the big 50/50 fights.
Everyone getting on a pure boxers case for not brawling against a come forward fighter and making the fight "boring" yet refuse to critisize the other fighter for not forcing a fight or cutting off the ring
I don't critisize but just do not understand why people would pay to watch a pure boxer. It bores me and as your namesake suggests u like a good brawler. I payed good money to watch Berrera live in Manchester I would stay home for Mayweather.
When fighters or any other athlete for that matter thanks God. Thank someone that's actually real for a change!
He talks about the big fights whilst rubbing everyone up the wrong way. Frampton left him as he wouldn't let McGuigan co-promote him, then seems to think he can just publicly call the shots RE a Frampton/Quigg fight, he should have sat down at the table and got that fight sorted. He looks for PPV rather than putting on good quality Sky Sports shows. British fans don't want every good bout involving British fighters to be on box office (look at the British forum on boxrec to see those complaints made time and time again). Bellew Vs Cleverly saw him losing a lot of good will and since then he has failed to rebuild it whilst frustrating fans. Nobody really wants to see Coyle Vs Campbell, despite him trying to sell it to us, nobody really wants half of what he is selling. He had the opportunity to really put together some great shows but take a look at the last Sky Sports card or the next one. He can put on a great show, like the May 30th one, but 1 good card after two turgid shows is hardly doing good for British boxing, especially if that one good show ends up on PPV.
I'm happy with wot I get for my money and will pay anytime to watch Froch knockout groves. I won't pay for box nation or anything to do with Frank ******.
Jab and Grab. Clinching is fine, but when a guy clinches after nearly every punch nobody is happy. Klitschko vs Povetkin was probably the most irritating example because along with the insane clinch to punch ratio, most of the clinches were also illegal. Also, I'd like to know why the fahk ****** is censored on this site. It's hilarious, but also insanely confusing.
