I agree the heavyweights are a complete and utter joke but I think that Boxing's skill level peeked in the 80s plateaued in the 90s and have slowly declined ever since. This is no hard evidence that I can produce but I have seen a lot of fighters in my life and in my opinion fighters on mass are not as good. thats not to say that there are not exceptions to the rule.
calzaghe is the biggest myth in boxing. protected in and out of the ring by only fighting one decent fighter in their prime, and having 27 of his 32 knockouts come against fighters who could still fight and still wanted to fight and weren't even hurt. Pacquioa's 135+ pound campaign is absolute garbage as they were all catchweights against broken fighters Arum bribed clottey and that's why he didn't punch at all and hasn't needed to fight since andre ward is not slick drinking your own **** is pretty gross judges scorecards should be made public during the fight after each round compubox is a load of bull**** designed for those too incompetent to score a fight mayweather and pacquiao are equally responsible for the fight not happening being a dick riding groupie is not cool. no one's fighter is perfect and flawless like these dumb nut huggers try to believe
Fighters end up broke when they retire and there's no reason to feel sorry about it because they make a lot more than us but wasted it on stupid ****.
true. some people need to quit being so damn loyal to another dude. it's pretty gay. they were both controversial. floyd was man enough to win give a rematch and win. that's not controversial
:rofl Types of T.K.O.'s This content is protected Corner Stoppage: The fighter is being completely battered, to the point where it is becoming dangerous. In some cases, the fighter may have suffered an injury. His corner decides to surrender on his behalf to prevent unnecessary damage or potential injury. (This is also known as "throwing in the towel"). Stoppage Because of Strikes: The fighter is overwhelmed by strikes, and cannot intelligently defend himself. The referee intervenes to avoid unnecessary damage or potential injury. Multiple Knockdowns: The fighter is knocked down a certain number of times during a single round (common rule in most boxing and kickboxing contests). Naw, I'd give some leeway to the guys who only got like 2 million dollars for a fight or 2 and didn't realize that's all the money they'll be getting for their whole career :thumbsup
that fighters do not have to weigh the division weight limit each and every time. ie, 141-147 is in the WELTER WEIGHT division,
