Too many belts an divisions. Everyone ignores the smallest guys. Who is the current ring minimum weight champion champion? Yeah I dont know either because theyre never on TV.
Corruption from the governing bodies through the judges. I have experienced it first hand as a judge. It happens and its not nice
I hate that all the big fights from America are on at about 4am in the bloody morning! :verysad Totally wrecks the next day for me!!! Not much we can do about unfortunatly, unless they start having afternoon fights in Vegas!!! :good
When I was a kid Saturday afternoon fights were pretty common. They would usually come on at 5 pm, US time. Not sure how that what translate for you, but its gotta be better than 4 am.
hype jobs like audley harrison getting big pay days rather then fighters more deserving who are better but never get the chance
This is the BEST reason of all the not like boxing. Friday night on ESPN FNF's, we had to watch Jesse Feliciano absorb more punishment to his brain. The guy was 1/2 braindead before the fight & I'm sure he's worse after the pounding Tsurkan put on him. You can't even hurt the guy with head shots, cause theres no living matter left upstairs. At one point, Tsurkan realized this & finally started to go to his body to try & chop this game warrior down. That it not fun watching someone getting destroyed to the point where they won't even be able to speak one day. :-(
1. Too many Belts 2. Too many Weight Classes 3. Too much money for fights (leads to less fights) 4. 12 rounds instead of 15 round fights in Title fights.
