Zab was his true last test as a welterweight. Zab just never learn how to control his emotions and Mayweather took advantage.

It was Floyd's last 5 fights, not Floyd's 5 most unimpressive fights, so you can't just as easily do this to everyone's resume.

MARQUEZ :decent comeback bout against a great lower weight fighter ruined by the weight issue bull****,impressive performance by floyd albeit against an overmatched opponent,a safe comeback in every sense.

HATTON :a great matchup at the time, the fight i most wanted to see at that time, dissapointing fight highlighted by that absolute tit joe cortez who was disgraceful.good performance & good win for floyd.

DE LA HOYA:biggest fight that could be made in 2007,great build up,hype & anticipation, decent fight but a slight letdown,my overriding thought was the outcome would've been different had oscar maintained his jab & workrate.

BALDOMIR:linear welterweight title win for floyd,he shut him out but god was it boring.

JUDAH:a good matchup that lost all its shine in the judah-baldo fight.close fight for 4 rounds before mayweather figured him out.pretty good win

AS FOR MOSLEY:its a great matchup, that COULD potentially be explosive if mosley can trouble floyd enough to the point that he has to stand & fight,if that happens its anyone fight for the taking.the other scenario is mayweather gets into a rythym shane cant break after 5 rounds & fights safety first to take a dissapointing maybe dull decision

Im not going to say anything because its so easy to bad mouth a fighter after its done.
We all by now knows who PBF is and if anyone think he's going to change ...your the fool that get mad at what he does.

This fight is should be called the PIMP GAME FIGHT PLAN ALL ORGANIZE BY FLOYD MONEY MAYWEATHER ...Look at how it works again I posted this a year ago...

I change my avatar fairly regularly anyway. I had SRL up for a long time. But I won't call Mosley an old man if he loses, unless he looks shot. Floyd deserves credit if he wins, because this is the motivated version of Mosley, older or not.

I know this is difficult when you love Floyd so much you have no objectivity, but the fights listed were not great. It was Floyd picking guys he had every conceivable advantage over (bar Oscar, who had his own deficiencies which saw Floyd a 2-1 favourite) and then doing exactly what he was meant to.

He did what he had to do, and that's commendable, but hardly worth fawning praise over.

Of course, stating that when you obviously agree shows just how biased you are. Honestly, the Hatton fight worthwhile? When Cotto, Margarito, Cintron and Williams were out there?

    Get to ****.

You are talking about objectivity? You're the biggest **** gobbler around here.

Secondly, Mayweather is the favorite against everyone he faces and would be for anyone 154 and below. What's your point? He'd be a huge favorite against Pacquiao as well; does that mean he's cherrypicking?

The difference was that Mayweather was only one weight class below Oscar, Marquez was really three classes below Floyd. Secondly Mayweather was younger than Oscar, while Marquez was older than Mayweather. I'm not excusing Oscar's performance, but surely you must see the complete physical advantages Floyd had over JMM?

It's a worthless win - nothing more than a tune-up and unimpressive because he could have taken JMM out almost anytime after the second, but he's so risk averse he won't.

It was a big fight, but not the best fight. What did beating a LWW mean in terms of legacy? It proved nothing at either weight. And don't bring up balls like styles make fights. Its a cliché and you haven't even explained what relevance it has here.

Floyd's overall performance was masterful, but it was a ****-ugly fight against a guy who had no chance whatsoever. Look here - Mayweather was the pick by 15-5!

Well, I thought Oscar lost fairly clearly too. But he caught a lot of Floyd's shots and parried them. Soon as that jab was going, Mayweather was all over the place. In fact, even when Floyd was completely in control, he didn't commit and take the fight. He just walked the rounds out.

You're in the biggest fight of your era and THAT'S the performance you put on?

    http://www.thesweetscience.com/boxing-article/4578/baldomir-mayweather-fight-predictions/

That's just one example and every writer picked Mayweather. Don't make bull**** up. He was a WIDE favourite to beat Baldomir and that's exactly what he did. The fight was more or less worthless other than for the lineal title, whch Floyd hadn't given a **** about at LWW.

Judah's Judah. The problem is that he'd looked so dreadful against Baldomir, you have to count that against him. Still, I rank that as a very good win for Floyd, because he was facing the sort of opponent that he dislikes - fast southpaw with an awkward style. He lost the first four rounds then kicked Judah's ass so comprehensively that it more or less finished him as a fighter (Cotto did the rest).

But it's not like he faced someone who had looked incredible in his last fight or was particularly dominant.

I'll happily give him credit for doing what he needs to do. But all of those fights, bar the Judah match, were painfully dull and were against guys who had little or no chance to beat him.

I respect the guys skills, but the context is essential before you say he's some sort of great. He gets both under rated and over rated, so I'm just giving the balance.

You're definitely a "glass half full" guy, aren't you? Floyd-Baldomir was utter ****, and Oscar hadn't beat a top lightmiddle in years.
