Anybody got any idea's they would love to see implemented to improve the sport?

I would like the option when buying a PPV to chose which fighter you are paying to watch, Whatever % of the PPV buy's a fighter gets is the same % of the PPV money they get paid. You could even have the option to be neutral and give both fighters equal share.

I would also like a mobile App that displays live real time punch stats etc while you are watching.

All super fight PPV should be $49.50 for HD

All non-super fight or big name fights that should be amazing like Lomachenko vs rigo or LOma vs Mikey Garcia or Linares should be $29.95 HD
    Lower price mean more sales

Yeah make it where each division has only one belt. That alone would solve 90% of boxings problems. I’m tired of hypejobs given a platform. You got a bunch of worms just eating and corroding one apple.

One governing body so no more multiple title holders.

Year round testing of all active boxers and a unified and universal system of punishment for offenders, so a fighter doesn't just get away with a pathetic 6 month ban just because it was in America and a fighter just can't get around a ban by fighting in another country.

I've really liked the WBSS events so every division has an event like this every 4 years to find the best in each division from the top 8 ranked boxers in that division. It would be like the Olympics of boxing every 4 years, you get a huge event hosted by a country, boxing fans all around the world travel to this country to watch the best of the best fight to be champion in every weight division. You could even have regional events, so European tournament, Americans, Asia, etc which would take place with lower ranked fighters in the years between the major tournament, that way fighters have a path to follow to increase their ranking.

A boxers union and pension scheme where a percentage of each fighters purse is given to funding the union and pension of each fighter.

A more transparent ranking system, maybe something like what the ATP and WTA uses for tennis but tailored for boxing. The more active you are the more points you receive that way you can't just sit on a ranking. Get more points for beating higher ranked fighters and of course a ton of points if you win the WBSS olympic event or one of the regional events I outlined above.

If a fighter fails to make weight and the fight continues fighter who is overweight must wear 20oz gloves, and for every lbs they overweight by more than a set amount they receive a point deduction as well as a fine which is given to the other boxer than has made weight. This should hopefully prevent fighters cheating and coming in heavy.

A more stringent system of qualifying as a referee or judge, inquiries into any poor decisions after a fight that is open to the public. Referees paid not by promoters but by governing body and supplied by governing body. Only neutral refs for all international fights.

1- One belt to rule them all. The board of directors of the sanctioning body is elected every four years by the partners (active boxers).
2- Bad judges are sent to the fridge for a year. Reoffending and dubious judges (like Adalaida Byrd, C.J. Ross, Pierre Benoist) are sent to a gulag in Siberia forever.
3- If the fight goes the distance, a 20% of the fighters purses go to the charity
4- The sanctioning body organizes tournaments between the top ranked fighters, or eliminatory fights. If a fighter ducks someone or he does not want to fight without a medical reason, he is fined and banned for a year.
5- If a fighter misses the weight, he is fined and banned for a year.
6- Every associated fighter is available to be doping tested everywhere, everytime.

A Drunk Boxing Championship would be funny too.

Rules against clinching should be enforced. First time you clinch warning, second time points deduction, third time DQ.

No rounds, no judges, 1 ref to enforce the rules, and fight until the other guy quits or get's T/KO'd

    Hahahahhah

Majority of boxing fans want to watch KOs. Want to watch two guys beating each other. Sometimes one of them is winning and is happy enough to win on points. And wont risk nothing to not being caught in a counter punch. The other one is losing, he knows it, and is happy enough to make the distance, take the money and going home with this wife.

So with the Malignaggi tax they might be more motivated to engage.

Of course the Rigondeaux, Laras and BillyJoeSaunders of the world wouldn't be happy, but cmon, this is a show business. The sports thing is in the amateurs. :-D

only trouble i see with the 1 belt is that champs fight so infrequently

if there is a 1 belt rule i would like to have a mandatory 4 fights a year for a belt holder.
