make one official world boxing body that will control all aspect of the sport most especially the money. promoters should be sidelined and become just promoters after a fight is scheduled. they should not be allowed to cancel any fight but rather get fined for cancellations and undue influences. the sport was corrupted by money that needs to be addressed. it needs to return as a sport entertainment and not mostly business entertainment like the fake wwe.

 

This is just plain ol silly. They negotiate all this stuff before stepping in the ring.

My mistake aside, that would never fly (And rightfully so). No one will fight w/o knowing how much they are getting paid.

 

I'd like to see more tournaments within the weight divisions after the success of the world boxing super series with cruisers and middleweights.

Also would be nice if judges were held to account for their scorescards and if necessary, reviewed if there is found to be severely incompetent scoring

 

For the most part, same as the others:

One belt per weight class
Complete enforcement of the #1 contender mandatory (That way the 'Unknown' fighter gets his actual shot)
Year-round drug/weight testing

 

Do we actually care who brings in the most revenue? I could not give a care about the money man of a fight. We're sports fans, not accountants.

3.No holding (it's a foul and should be treated like one)
4.Smaller ring (increases action)
5.Penalty for stalling
6.Live scoring by judges
7.Judges that make seriously bad decisions are fired.
8.Mandatory drug testing of the top 10 to enter a tournament for the belt.
9.Day before and day of the fight weigh ins (to limit weight cutting)
10.Standing 8 count (cuts back on early stoppages)
11.Boxing on free tv.
12.Subtitles or English dubbing for foreign fights.
13.Only ten weight classes.
14.Naked ring girls.
15.The Malignaggi tax.

 

Any boxer challenging for a world title be top 8 instead of top 15 for voluntary defences.

 

Actually scrap that how the **** is BJ Flores rated the no.6 HW by the WBA? He has fought 2 cans since being destroyed by Bellew at Cruiserweight.
