    did roy jones receive the kind of hate that mayweather gets from some of the people on these boards back when he was p4p number 1?

    you ever heard his song ya'll musta fo-got ... he rapped about his critics saying that he never fought anybody - but he just made them look like that.

    Roy was criticized way more than Floyd is now ...

    Very simlar situations. Roy Jones was slagged off often much like Mayweather.

    When Roy was pound for pound number 1 he didn't really fight anyone.
    All of his best opponents were before he was regarded so highly.

    He got critized alot, but people still enjoyed to watch his fights more than Floyd.
