Obviously Tito. IF Cotto were to retire today, he's not even HOF material. That's how i feel.

It's not just resume.Tito was made through boxing and Cotto was hyped.Tito has an attractive style and Cotto not so much,at least not to me.Tito has serious respect from his contemporaries and Cotto's contemporaries just understand the business and go along with the hype. The resume's are not even close and never will be.Too bad for Cotto, but he will remain a hyped fighter regardless,so it's good business for him,but let's not compare them.

Dont think so. I just don't see him starting to dominate at 54 or 47 the way he would need to.. A margarito rematch and whooping berto would help though

Trinidad has moar big names while Cotto really only has Mosley. I don't see Cotto beating emmanuel in a rematch, let alone Mayweather.

I think if Marg was allowed to fight again, and Cotto took the fight, and won handily, it would close the gap, but still wouldnt be an equalizer.

Cotto just doesnt have the names to fight, and the one's he does, would probably end him, but as for the OP, Trinidad, was a fine fighter in his day, but not on the level of a Pac, Floyd, BHOP, etc, so yes, Cotto can get there too.

I don't think many people claimed cotto had a better resume.
