Well, past two and a half days i've used the good old sauna suit for my normal workout and i am at 172.5
I'd fight at the 165-178 division. It seems your most realistic bet. If you feel you can make lower without killing yourself, or sacrificing stamina go for it. Good luck I hope you make it.
Thanks questionkid :good Im hoping I do too Though it may be harder than I actually thought. for a few days I've been weighing 167 and it seeems my body wont go any lower than that, despite not eating very much and the weigh ins are on Friday, 9 am. If I cant make the limit, instead of going into that deadly sauna, i decided i'll just move up in weight. Though im not sure I can do that either, when I was 13 i had to weigh 119 and i weighed 132 two weeks before, lost a bunch of weight and when i stepped on, i was 119 but 6 ounces over and all they said was "Ok, you're overweight. you're going home" and they didnt give me the option to move up a weight category.
Yeah, you have to be the weight you declare when you enter the tournament. If you don't think you can make it by tomorrow you better let your coach know where you are at so he can make sure he enters you at the right weight.
You can make it, what you need to do is eat a big breakfast, and then smaller meals in more portions during the day. This will make your metabolism speed up. Also don't forget to run and an asauna suit always helps
