Just annoys me that a video critic starting a kickstarter for feminism related youtube videos gets a ridiculously successful kickstarter and this game has no chance of raising the 300k. Shame.

 

I've been praying for a game like this for years. When I get paid I'll pledge some cash. This has got me excited

Trying to raise 300k for a game like that on Kickstarter is insane.

Not saying it doesn't look good. It's just that 300k on Kickstarter is a hell of a lot of money to raise for what is a fairly niche product.

Also 300k funding for that game seems like a hell of a lot of money.

 

This is crowd funding and typically taps into the ultra enthusiasts who want this to be developed.

It looks like most of the money is for development work. These guys should be tapping into the open source communities, there are plenty of nerds working for free in their spare time, just so they can tell their friends that they helped develop these games.

 

The feminism videos have been pretty interesting, in fairness, and it's a valid topic in gaming. This Kickstarter has just begun, so it need some help with promotion. Tweet Eddie, tweet Sky, tweet Bunce - get the word out if you want it to succeed.

The amount of money she got for it was absolutely shocking. A lot of the time Kickstarter truly infuriates me. It's just one of those things that will be abused more as time goes on and not used for its actual purpose.
