They needed to average around 9k per day, so far they've got £100 per day, you'd have to say its looking bleak.

They've not done much of a job getting the game out beyond Twitter. It's a shame.

It is a shame but one of the developers said they are having trouble getting game and boxing websites to reply to them.

You have to wonder why in the boxing sites' case. The game sites I can sort of understand - very few of them seem to be interested in boxing going by the ludicrous reviews they gave the last Fight Night game.

I understand them not wanting to use a publisher because they don't want to compromise their vision for the project but surely they will have to if this fails, part of me thinks no publishers were actually interested though.

Or had specific requirements - like launching on iOS, etc and reducing the game's scope.

That said, the boxing games on iOS and Android are so woeful, they could make a killing just by not being ****.

The guys behind this have told me on Twitter that they have found Kickstarter to be a good learning experience, they plan on taking a much smaller approach, make the game smaller and then relaunch another Kickstarter campaign with a new website and forum, build a community up and make the first release less ambitious and work towards a great game year by year.

Yeah they probably realised this would be way more popular as an app on phones and tablets than a full blown simulator on pc. Downsizing the game and changing their market is probably a much more profitable approach.
