Am I the only one that thinks this could be Canelo's time and this is set up perfectly for Canelo to make a statement saying that this is his era? I kind of got the same feeling before Wlad/Joshua. Now obviously GGG is not as old as Wlad, and has not had as long of a lay-off, but my gut just tells me Canelo is going to win in impressive fashion. When I breakdown the fight I have GGG winning, but my gut feeling is Canelo dominates.

Canelo is in his prime is at a perfect weight for him he is at his peak.

Golovkin has declined is 35 which makes it even more interesting if this fight happened 2 years ago it would of been a mismatch

Just out of curiosity... Would you mind sharing that breakdown with us? Honestly interested in seeing a step-by-step breakdown on how Canelo wins this. Have yet to see one on here.

35 is a good age. Many guys were in their peak at 35, 36 , 37.. Golovkin is primed and ready to go. He's as good now as he ever was.

I broke down how GGG would win already. Like I said it's more of a gut feeling so I don't have a step by step breakdown. My gut just tells me Canelo's handspeed will be far too much, and he's going to breakdown and destroy GGG's body. For some reason I just think he's going to put on a show and look like an ATG doing it.

So just a gut feeling and nothing more? Yeah sometimes you've just got to run with that I guess, even if there's no merit behind it. One of the worst feelings is going against your gut and being wrong.

There's definitely some merit in it. I predicted GGG would win and broke it down, but I don't see it as a 90/10 kind of fight. I've always thought it was 70/30 favoring GGG. I feel like it's Canelo's time and he's going to put on a brilliant performance, but when I breakdown their styles I think that GGG's jab could be too much and if Canelo doesn't move enough to give GGG the same looks as Jacobs did.

Oscar 'wants' it to be Canelo's time that's why they waited 2 years to make it plus it's in Nevada, center of boxing corruption.

My gut tells me Canelo wins CONVINCINGLY. No bs. It's not what I want, or I'm hoping for, it's just a feeling that it's like a movie perfect time for Canelo to dominate and become a legend.

If that's the case, then he should have stepped up 2 years ago, in fact he should have stepped up a LONG TIME before then. He stayed at MW when there were no big fights because he didn't believe in himself, his fans don't believe in him either which is why they are ALREADY making excuses for him, they fantasise about him having fights against much smaller guys which were never going to happen, but never about him actually stepping up in weight and proving himself.

Now it is crunch time and he has no excuses if he loses, none.

    Fights GGG up close.
    Smothers him, rides the storm.
    Throws flurries when he can.
Makes it to the end of the fight.

    Vegas Judges

    ...?

    Profit!
