ah. I had to retake my asvab because MEPS didn't want to fill out like 2 things my recruiter didn't but they could have. went from an 84 to an 86 when I retested.

I had a study guide for it for when I took it because I was worried about scoring well....I glanced through it but didn't really do anything and got a 90 on it. Palo, you're going to get DICKED by the Air Force on your AFSC with an AFQT of 59; do you know what your MAGE scores were?

I have no ****ing idea haha, I just want to get in. They've been giving me the run around for literally 2 years now. If I don't like my MOS when I'm in, I plan on retesting and getting a new one.

ASVAB: Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery

    AFSC: Air Force Specialty Code

    MEPS: Military Entrance Processing Station

    AFQT: Armed Forces Qualification Test

MAGE: The Air Force specific line-scores that you get reflecting Mechanical, Administrative, General, and Electronic aptitude.

I say you need to at least spar some pros your size before you think about it. My problem was always the guys my size were either too weak to compete with me or too good for me to screw with (the whole decade of my 20s I spent at about 128 lbs, 5'8''). The average 128 lb male is not physically strong enough or large enough to bother me, so I destroy them. The best ones, pros for the most part, are way way way too sharp for me. Sparring with Auggie Sanchez was like being crucified.

I don't recommend going pro until you have seen and fought guys who are starting out in your weight. Where are you now? I live in the southwest United States, some time in Vegas, some in Arizona. I am 33 years old, 133 lbs now. If you can beat me easily you should turn pro! If not, don't!!!! And I don't know that the pot shotting style is the best to win rounds unless you are really sharp and hard with it. I like to swarm and overwhelm, and that seems to be a good strategy at the lower weights.

Do you have any vids of your recent fights, that you can post?

6 amature fights does seem a little low to turn pro. Have ever thought about fighting semipro (unlicensed). This will be more like fighting on the pro circuit except that the quality of oppanents wont be near as good as those in the pro game. After a couple of years at this you may feel better experienced enough to go pro
