Seriously guys he's probably going to lose it's got to be 75% Vitali 25% Arreola in this fight but that's not why I'm making this post.

I'm making this post because Arreola could very well have choosen to face Haye/Valuev/Ruiz or even chase the WBA's route, or Povetkin or Chambers but he choose the best. The best! And in doing so has taken a huge gamble.

Therefore when he looses could I just ask we respect a true warrior who has heart and threw it all on the line. Win or lose please lets not have any "untrained" "fat" "overated" or "bum" remarks. Arreola's going out there to fight & we can all pretty much guarantee like Vitali he will bring fireworks that will make this fight fun whilst it lasts and at the end of the day we're hear for; entertainment.

So Arreola sir; I salute you & all the best win or lose! :good

even though i'm a chris arreola fan and hope he beats vitali i can't see how he has earned any praise because he hasn't won anything yet. also, his lack and interest of training is really wearing on me. does he think he can just show up and win a world title without working really hard for it like other great heavyweight champions have done in the past?

The guy's got heart. Don't we all want to see great matches? Seems counter productive to rip a guy who's exciting for fighting a guy he's more than likely to lose against.

IIRC most people are ripping him for being a bloated undisciplined waster rather than for fighting someone he's going to lose against...

BAM! We don't admonish Arreola for taking on a tough challenge. We admonish him for sucking. We admonish him because he is lazy, because he is a disgrace to professional athletes and the sport of boxing. We admonish him because he DOES NOT GIVE IT HIS ALL! He rips us off and himself by showing up fat and under-trained. I do not respect this lazy mofo one ounce. I respect someone who puts in the effort in the gym and gives it 100%, someone who tries their best, not someone who just shows up.

IF he losses it depends on the loss. If he turns up weighing 270 and gets ko'd in 1st round then i think he will rightfully be derided. Or if he gases in later rounds then again there is no excuses and fitness will be an issue and he can and will be called on it. If he turns up at 240, i dont care if he's ripped, and gives an aggresive perfermance then i think he deserves respect regardless of result. I have heard nothing from him to get the impression he is not taking this seriously so hopefully will be a good competative fight.
