Thinking about putting a bet on Jones at 5/1 odds...

lets hope its not pittypat.... and a present for jones before he give a hug to hopkins and calls it goodnight to his career on a much anticipated highnote.

tarver did him a solid on thier last fight.... stopped throwing when he had jones dazed against the ropes and knew he was already way ahead on the cards.

it's cool to show respect sometimes...but ...not allllll the ****ing time.

 

p.s I am a jones jr fan...but i hated what i was seeing.

 

Hopkins is gonna beat him easy.

 

Hopkins will not knock Jones out.... He has a chance but I doubt it...

Bad bet, Roy will freeze up and not be able to pull the trigger against Hopkins, just like every fighter that poses a threat to him these days...

Roy can only pull the trigger against sitting ducks like Lacy and Sheika. Hell it took him 3 rounds against Trinidad to start throwing punches when he finally realized a shot smaller Trinidad could not hurt him.

Calzaghe put his hands down, Roy could not even throw a punch with any type of power on it.

I will watch the fight, but plan on Roy not throwing many punches.

 

you'll be better off betting on chambers over klitschko. the odds are higher, over 9/1, and i think he has a better chance than jones over hopkins.

 

why on earth would you put a bet on a guy that has a Glass Jaw, no heart and no plan B in a fight? You might as well give that money to the homeless guy on the street corner.

 

i might also put in a few bucks on some rounds...round betting for chambers here is 80/1, so even 5 bucks per round won't be bad.

I think its a good bet... Hell I'm thinking bout throwin some money on it myself.. Hopkins style gives Roy a great shot at winning.. He's not knocking Roy out So I think Roy will fight with a lil confidence..

Even though I agree with Rico, that Jones would be a bad person to put your money on in this fight......

He picks Jones to get knocked out in every fight, and when it finally happens he acts like some chin checking genius. Instead of an average boxing fan, that knows a shot fighter when he sees one without seeing them get knocked out 4 years prior by fighters that would have never touched him in his prime.

I feel like it is fair to remind him every now and then that he picked fighters to KO Roy that got their asses kicked by a much shot and old Roy Jones.

can't go with betting with your heart on this one... jones is too shakey to put the eggs in the basket with... he actually cost me over 500 already ...small firendy bar bets.... win or lose types of ****..and he never came through..... i bet if i dont bet on this one he will win on points.

never the less..... hopkins just seems fresh. and not a gatekeeper...but a master and wise teacher of the game.

he got that bad attitude... but.. his anger and passion etc etc..makes him a favorite of mine.... the clinic he gave pavlik was masterful ....even though he had to act like a ****ing dick at the end of the 12th...
