I have a feeling opinion won't be high about this fight and people will say it's a foregone conclusion. Alvarez needs something big on the back of an L, I believe he'll want to prove himself and go hunting for a KO. This will leave him open to counters and GGG isn't as past it as he people make him out to be.

I predict it will be the best fight out of the 3.

Hope so. There wasn't a lot of drama in the other two.

Shot to pieces GGG plodding forwards against pretty much the same Canelo?

    It's going to be brutal

First time ever we will likely see GGG go into preservation mode and just survive the distance or he'll plod forward into his demise.

    So long sweet prince.

If Canelo struggles again he is pathetic and should retire.

Pac-Marquez 4 was the best of theirs. Leonard-Duran 1 was the best of theirs. Gatti-Ward 1 was the best that time. Rios-Alvarado 1 again. Barrera-Morales, I actually don't recall which was the best. Ali-Frazier 3 and Marquez-Vazquez 3 were both the best. Bowe-Holyfield 2. Pacquiao-Morales 1, Limon-Chacon 4. I think Carbajal-Gonzalez 1 was the big one. I don't remember the best of Patterson-Johansson or Ross-McLarnin. I think that we only have film of Zale-Graziano 3 which was the weak link of their trilogy. Tiger-Fullmer got more lackluster each fight as Fullmer aged. The fourth Pep-Saddler fight was a cracker and the only one we have footage of. Griffith-Paret 3 might have been the best.

ggg has canelos number, its the same when pacquaio and marquez fought at lower weights both fights were close, and when marquez vs pacman 3 was made, the majority of the people had pacquaio by knckout, becuase marquez was over the hill and didnt belong at 147. but the 3rd fight was the easiest to score for marquez and the 4th needs no explanation.

I'm a GGG fan but Canelo beats him.

GGG won the first fight, second fight was closer but I had him just about edging that also.

Time is undefeated and Canelo looks to have move left now, GGG just looks a little slower now, the snap doesn't seem to be there any longer, he is still tough AF.

    But Canelo wins this one.

    Great points.

I actually fear for Golovkin a bit, I think it's going to be a hard watch for GGG fans (I include myself in that)

GGG won the first and second fights by 5-7 points and was given a loss and a draw by corrupt judges. Canelo even failed a PED test prior to the second fight and still fought.

GGG is very old now and I think he gets stopped to the body in the third fight. I hope he doesn’t get too badly hurt. He is a lot slower than he used to be.
