it didn't seem to be a problem when Wlad took a 9month break between the Chagaev and Chambers fights!

    Injury?

Is Chambers of the same quality as Haye?

Plus, the period that you're referring to was probably a one off.

Most think Chambers would beat Haye.

fighters take 9 month lay offs quite often
but fighters NEVER EVER have a tune up fight, just 8 weeks before a mega fight. especially at heavyweight

So I've been on vacation and am trying to get caught up, but can one you explain why Haye would give a **** when/who Wlad fights before or after July 2nd? I mean why would he not want Wlad to fight the day before their fight if he would...I mean it's Haye's advantage so what's the issue?

I mean is Wlad mandating Haye fight a tune up...lol, if not why would Haye and/or a Haye supporter give a ****?

im sure hes annoyed that wlad is taking it as soon as 8 weeks before their fight.... think about it. one incident against chisora. a cut/injury anything and the haye fight is off! why risk it for a shitty fight against chisora

If Haye has turned down the July 2nd because Wlad is fighting Chisora, then Haye does have to take some of the blame, it shouldn't be that big a stumbling block, but Wlad shouldn't even be fighting Chisora anyway. Wlad complains about being inactive, but Haye will be going into the fight with the same disadvantage, not fighting since November, and even then it was a 3rd round ko with not much action, over a guy who didn't throw a punch, where as Wlad got 10 rounds under his belt against Peter just a couple of months earlier and Wlad has had a training camp in November/December. Haye hasn't.

Wlad should just fúck Chisora off and sign for July 2nd. It's not like Haye is fresh off a big win with momentum going into the fight. He's just as active/inactive as Wlad going into it. Haye hasn't had a proper work out since Ruiz in April.

Well yeah, considering Wlad had to have surgery on his shoulder after the Chagaev fight.

Or Haye could agree to the July 2nd date/contract and expect that Wlad is going to honor his contract/word. I mean I don't see any need for Haye to "think" for Wlad, perhaps Haye could worry about Haye and allow Wlad to worry about Wlad...just a thought.

Well Wlad did fight 3 times in 2008. In 2009 he was expecting to fight Haye in March, because Haye promised him the Stamford Bridge as venue. Haye could not delivery that and the fight when on to 20 June (Haye pulled out then).
Then we was originally planned to fight Chambers on december 12, but he god injured and Vitali took the date to fight Kevin Johnson.
He was set to fight 3 times in 2010, but again got an injury and pulled out.
So why cant he fight Chisora on the april 30 and then 8 weeks later david Haye???
If the fight against Chisora is easy for him and he dont have to do anything like against Peter and Chambers, then it will not be so hard to fight again 8 weeks later.
We all remember how active Mike Tyson was, so why can Wlad be that too?????

I understand and mostly agree with you post.
But why would Wlad have to be innactive because Haye is? To make it fair?:huh

I mean, if they are really willing to make the fight only 9 weeks after chisora (which, i admit, is a bit suspicious) whats the problem for Haye?
