Mayweather landed way cleaner, JLC didn't land very clean most of the time and boxing is judged on a round by round basis :deal

    Do you count body shots?

Why after a clear UD from the judges did floyd have to bring up his shoulder and arum walked over to castillo and promised him a rematch?

Right, if you land more and threw more than doesn't mean you won more rounds. You could throw a ton of punches in 3 rounds then not do **** for the rest of the fight theoretically.

Yeah, but that is not what happened.

Castillo finished stronger and won the fight.

I used to be a big mayweather fan and I said all the same bull****. "his shoulder was ****ed up" "castillo was mauling and holding him against the ropes" "he won the rematch pretty handily so it doesn't matter"

    Been there, done that.

Watch the fight objectively and you'll see castillo won it.

Yes I do if they are good ones, don't count love taps in clinches though. Why wouldn't Arum offer Castillo a rematch, it was a close fight, he owns both fights and could go either way as I said (although you'd have to give JLC every close round). A rematch would sell

Your right, thats not what happend I was just trying to make the point that the landed/thrown % wasn't everything.

It wasn't close according to the judges.

Obviously the title was stolen from castillo for arum's new cash cow floyd.

No, I stopped waiting for him to break through and take on tough fights.

Got bored of the joke fights.

Well theoretically you could give FMJ the first 5 and another 3. I've scored it numerous times, had it as wide as 8-4 to FMJ and the best for JLC 7-5

The scorecards were well off, happens all the time, boxing judges are either inept or corrupt half the time.

But if Arum really wanted to steal the title and give to FMJ, why give JLC a rematch :huh That doesn't make sense

When was this? I'm quite cynical you were ever a fan. If you remember back, tell me, which was the joke fight and which fight he should have taken that was available to him

The judah and baldomir fights were a farce.
So what Marquez. Fighting Mosley after he was nearly 40 was bad too, but not as bad some other stuff.

Sharmba mitchell, completely overmatched arturo gatti..... This was all supposed to lead up to him coming to WW and hopefully cleaning out the division.

His WW career has been a joke.

Look at all the competition available over the past few years. What do we get? Baldomir/Judah/Marquez/Old Mosley.

    Pathetic.

If you followed boxing at the time, Mayweather's match up situations went like this:

Corley: first fight at 140 against Corley who went to an SD against Judah. Mayweather actually wanted WBU champ Hatton for this fight before Ricky hit it big and Ricky was considered a fraud at this time.

Gatti - big big fight, there was a reason it was a PPV for both of them, anyone disapointed in this fight is joking, it was a big fight at the time

Mitchell - Mayweather wanted his second PPV for this November slot and would fight Hatton/Cotto/Judah to make it. Hatton 'wasn't ready', neither was Cotto, Judah wanted too much. So no PPV for Mayweather he settled for

Judah - was a massive fight before Judah lost and much talked about. When he lost the fight was offered to Hatton and EVEN Margarito - both turned it down

Baldomir - linear champ with Judah/Gatti wins, considered easy fight none the less. A Marg fight was supposedly offered for 8million, but this would mean Mayweather would be tied to Arum for 3 fights, and make 7 and 6 million for his next 2. Mayweather had a 40million fight with Delahoya waiting for him

LMAO at you complaining about Mosley, I bet I could find posts of you accusing him of ducking Mosley if I luck hard enough

I'm not arguing against your bias, I'm bored with that **** on this forum.
I think floyd has a shitty resume. You don't... good on you.

    Keep liking him, I don't give a ****.
