Let's face it, both Hearn and Caldwell told Bellew he was mad when he called Usyk out, but money talks. I just prey he get's home safely to his wife and kids.

Breidis would have destroyed the late-career Haye and knocks out Bellew.

i get that he has to back and support his fighter, but he doesn't need to say ridiculous stuff to do that. Surely "we know he's up against it, but we firmly believe he can and will do it" would suffice. Talking this way is just going to make the loss look even worse.

At least with Bellew we are not talking hypothetically. He is fighting Usyk to be fair to him. Even if e gets outclassed at least he stepped up to fight him

Well, we can’t expect these people to say things how they are but this is ridiculous.
Too many people are paid for either talking about things they know nothing about or pushing agendas.

Of course he is, it's the biggest payday in his career and he needs this to retire finally.

After this fight is over then the inflated claims on Bellew will get the proper perspective.

    Do you really believe that?

He won't earn what he earned vs Haye (Twice)

Fighting Whyte would have brought far more money to him, Usyk brings glory but not much financially

Are people serious about the Haye Bellew fights? Haye snapped his leg in the first one and could barely walk in the 2nd one. Forget shot and past prime, he was literally crippled.

Bellew has spent more time talking himself up than actually preparing for this fight it seems.

Meanwhile, Usyk has just got his head down and got on with business

While I agree what he said was ridiculous, what else is he meant to say?

"Yeah, Tony has no chance, Usyk is going to annihilate him."

He must know that Bellew needs either a cut/injury or for Usyk to do something stupid and get caught.

Bellew has had a good career, not a great one. Let's get it right, nobody acheives what Bellew has done by being a 'bum'. However, good is were it ends, he has never been brilliant.
His wins against Haye were against, in my opinion a joke of a fighter, but Haye wanted them, he did what I would expect anyone in his position to do to Haye. His second fight with Cleverley summed up Bellew to me, a good win, but was an awful fight. He, in my opinion has over acheived in his career, and I think that is to his credit. He has picked his opponents well, but this time I don't think he has.

To suggest he is anywhere near the Level of Usyk, Gasiev, or a prime c/w Haye is beyond a joke. I may be proved wrong, and willing to be ridiculed if so, but there is no way that any version of Bellew beats Usyk.

The Usky fight generates less than the Haye fights, but I'd imagine Bellews % is such that he is earning as much, or possibly more.

Good point. Be interesting to see how the PPV numbers compare without Haye
