Is that huge headed, illiterate, filipino midget the only thing in your mind ? God can you talk about anything else? Pacquiao has nothing to do with this.

just to clarify he was FAR from the most famous athlete in venezuela , in fact sadly very few people care about boxing in venezuela, he was well known for being a Chavez supporter wich makes half of the country love him and the other half hate him .

    Thanks friend.

Yeah, it does. Sad really not only for him but his entire family just broke down completely in a week and he has a daughter as far as I know.

Not really. Since we're discussing a guy who at the very least seemed kind of imbalanced/afflicted (evidenced by the previous arrests for DUI) and whose style of fighting inside the ring reflected that in terms of the urgency with which he fought, it kind of makes sense that when he fell from grace, it would along the lines of a quick plummet rather than slow descent. The give lived hard and fast, fought hard and fast, and ultimately he died hard and fast, too.

Edit: As a quick note, the above post is NOT meant to condone what he did or to romanticize it in any way. His wife is dead, his child is an orphan because of Valero's actions and behavior, and that's still the worst part of this story by far.

Good post... can't believe how his life just crumbled tbh.. the domestic abuse of his family, wife... then Doug Fischer revealed about the fights with ponce de leon and how his wife was miserable... from what Fischer was saying I got the impression Valero was an alcoholic who became extremely violent when drinking.. anyway it's over now I dont think its worth discussing him for too long.

He did have that motorcycle accident... so it could be a possibility... but this is really messed up. I dont think this can be blamed on this.
