Ok so now Floyd and GBP want to put on a fight on the same day as the Pac vs Clottey fight... And they BOTH want to be PPV!? I wouldn't pay anywhere near 39.99 or up for Pav vs Clottey let alone the Floyd vs (insert 140lbs boxer). I mean they equally need each other for the Pay day unless they put Shane Mosley in their next fight its not gonna come close to the amount of money they will make together.

SO I PLEAD TO FLOYD AND GBP.. JUST WAIT UNTIL AFTER JAN 30 TO SIGN A FIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know how bad yall want to stick it to Bob Arum.. Let him have that one...You guys are playing Chess right now. Sometimes u have to let a man get took to win the game lol

    Thoughts???

If they do have a fight on the same night and they are both Pay-Per-View then that will most likely make negotiations even harder in the future! The guy that sells more PPV's will figure they are the bigger draw and most likely ask for a bigger purse. Remember, the one fear that many had would prevent this fight was the money split, and march 13 could potentially add fuel to this fire once again later on this year.

I feel u, but I really don't see any of the potential oppenents that i've heard for floyd as PPV quality opponents. The only person that could help push the fight to make a ton of money on PPV buys is maybe Paul Williams.... None of the guys i've heard has even had a PPV fight lately.

I'm from Detroit so I ride wit Floyd but u just gotta fall back on this one.

This actually couldn't have worked out better for the old snake Bob Arum.. By pushing the mayweather fight back he will make out better.. First off now he takes his hot fighter to cowboy stadium to fight Clottey. He keeps all the money Jerry Jones ponies up for the fight instead of splitting it in half with golden boy. He keeps the fight in house and takes a cut of both fighters purses and essentially walks away with millions. Then He moves on to Mayweather (maybe) or takes another fight even before that to cash in on another huge payday. Doing all this because he knows damn well Mayweather will most likely defeat Paquiao and go on to become the best fighter in the world today. Therefore he can prolonge this mega fight and paquiao's loss, hence delaying his dropoff, for a couple more fights and make mega millions. This is pretty obvious why he would wanna do this, I kinda think everyone would if it means just making more millions of dollars before you put your sacrificial lamb out there to be defeated and then its a wrap!!

Schaefer wants PBF-Shane, gotta feeling that one will happen. I can't friggin wait till Berto-Mosley not only will that be a great fight, we'll get some real direction in this welterweight picture from its aftermath. May 1st PBF-Shane, just feels right

Yeah, hopefully Mosley takes care of business with Berto. I think Berto is overrated and was upset when he won the WBC belt being so untested. Maybe he will prove me wrong but I don't think so.
