This era of the middleweight division is as good as the era of 90's

Oh man when Canelo, Adrande, Lara and other clowns move up the division will be strong again!!!

 

I know that old ass Javier Castillejo whooped a prime Sturm's **** in 2006. Guys like Murray, Geale, and Macklin have tough fights with old Sturm. Yet those are Golovkin's best opponents. People on here often trash Hopkins' middleweight opposition, but guys like Echols, Allen, Johnson, Eastman, Jackson, etc. would beat the **** out of Golovkin's best opponents, and give him issues as well. I don't give Golovkin a pass just because he beats up, cab drivers, bums, stiffs, shopworn former contenders, shopworn smaller men who moved up to fight him etc. I see that mother ****er getting cut up by Gabe Rosado, and wonder what somebody who boxes with more skill and power would do to him

 

Personally, I really like GGG. He's a terrific fighter that's great for the sport. But what opponent(s) has he beaten that justify ur comment and put him in the category with the ones you mentioned-outside of Tyson of course?.

The fighters from Hopkins era were also far more PED driven due to weaker testing protocols than this current era, genius.
