You posted listings for four lightweight champs, a Ring Champ and you left out the IBO ratings.

What, aren't their champs (including Wlad Klitschko and Gennady Golovkin) good enough for you?

C'mon man, you gotta do your own homework. If you can't figure out how to find the name of the lightweight champion of the world, just google around and you'll figure it out.



I personally find it funny that so many are throwing the "he's a manager AND a promoter" tag at Haymon when they've not made an issue of the Duvas or Don King/Carl King or the Goosens or so many others using family members or house "managers" to fill that role as if the manager is acting completely in the fighter's interest and not his family's promotional company.

If that's OK, what Haymon is doing isn't worth mention.

There's much truth in what you write the sanctioning bodies have been a negative force especially in the the last 30 years but if you think PBC belts will solve the problem or at leat make things better you're sorely mistaken.

1) The biggest problem with ABC's has been the lack of consensus #1 in divisions with unification being the exception not the norm. When Haymon creates his own league and boxing is split between PBC vs non PBC boxers it will be even worse. Think the Kovalev-Stevenson, Golovkin-Quillin, Rigo-LSC situations are frustrating just wait until every division has PBC Champions who never fight outside the league.

2) Last i checked the WBC and Sulaimon who is leading the charge to work together with the WBA/IBF is the one who is forcing unification at 160 and 175 between the #1 and the lineal Champions holding their titles hostage with Cotto and Stevenson. Haymon is an obstructionist and it won't get any better as his league emerges. Anybody outside PBC won't exist to their fighters or media.
