You guys give Margo too much credit. Cintron will effectively box Margo this time around and have better inside game (although I expect him to stay away from it for the most part). Margo hasn't looked that great in his last few outings and his best is behind him imo. This fight is about 50/50 (great for betting on) but I give Cintron the nod as he will have a better trainer in his corner that knows how to beat the slow plodding Margo and will have a great game plan laid out for his guy, not to mention Cintron wants to win this fight more than anything in the world and now realizes that he cannot do it by brawling. The 6/1 odds on Cintron by decision and 5/1 on t/ko are excellent betting odds and this will be the upset of the weekend imo.

I don't know. Kermit looked lousy first fight. He swore his hand was recovering from surgery but I saw that his problems were much more than just the hand. The look on Kermit's face read like he gave up about two rounds before the corner stopped the fight. To give up in the middle of a fight shows a lot about his heart. I feel sorry for the guy, he seems very cool. But Margarito is ruthless. It would have to be a lucky punch by Cintron to change things around but I can't see Marg getting that careless.

Cintron will put up more of an effort than in his shambolic fight last time out. He still gets beaten though. Margarito is going to stop him in my opinion.

The reason why Margarito gave Cintron problems was because of his style. he has a very tough and rugged, but awkward style. His punches come from all sorts of weird angles, but also, he just doesn't back down. He can take the persons best punch and keep coming forward with his own punches at all angles. Check out the first fight and look at the exchanges. Margarito got the best of all the exchanges. even when Cintron threw a combination Margo came right back at him with 4 or even 5 more punches at a time. He simply overwhelmed him. Make no doubt about it, Margarito is much more effective with his pressure than David Estrada or Feliciano; tons more! I think Cintron's in between fights up to this one should of had better opposition to develop Cintron more.

Big Cat, you verbalized some of the concerns I have coming into this fight. I'm pulling for Cintron, but pessimistic about his chances for victory. I guess we'll just have to see. You have to wonder if Kermit is mentally over the loss to Margo.

I think Margarito is just a bad style matchup for Cintron. I was actually going for Cintron when these two fought the first time, but Margarito definitely has the pschological edge, the better chin, and probably the better stamina. I definitely see Cintron winning the early rounds before getting broken down by the later rounds. But it should be a good fight, however long it lasts.

Don't run away after tonight; Cintron is a very live underdog for this fight and im taking him by SD or close UD but wouldn't be shocked if he stopped Margo

Don't worry, I ain't going anywhere. I was just making an observation as to why Margarito gave Cintron so many problems in their first outing. I'm not writing Cintron off easily.

This is not gonna be an easy night for either guy as both are very hungry and determined to win. I know for fact that Margarito is not over looking Cintron and respects Cintron, as he does have some strenghts such as his power and athletic ability. I know this fight Cintron will be fighting a different fight and will not be pressing the action like he did in their first fight. He's gonna try to box and counter. At the same time Margarito will be expecting this and will try to make his own fight and set the pace. Margarito has proven again and again, regardless of who he fights, or if he wins or loses, he doesn't give anyone an easy night and is always constantly throwing bombs. I think this is what will let him take the fight in the later rounds.

For some reason I'm leaning toward Cintron to beat Margarito. Maybe its due to styles, or maybe he is better mentally this time, or maybe with 4 big fights tonight there stands a good chance of someone getting upset in atleast one of them. I sure wouldn't put any money on it but I'm going with Cintron by ud. But I also thought he'd win their first fight so who knows.

Margo.. Margo is gonna' be ruthless and is not going to back down.. He can take a lot more than Cintron, especially as seen in their first outing.. Kermit's gonna' have to have a good defensive strategy tonight.. If not, Margo is gonna' wail on him.. It might be close in the early rounds, but look for Margo to win.. Just cant see Kermit coming back to beat Margo after getting ktfo in their first meeting..

Cintron could beat Margo this time around, only by boxing the Tijuana tornado for 12 rounds. But thats Not Cintron, it's not his style. He does have decent boxing skills but not enough. Margo proved he could take kermits shots, Kermit proved he can't take Margos.
Margo is ripped, he looks like he did some serious training. You guys see the weight in? Kermit got all in Margos face, trying to get in his head i guess. Then afterwards Margo starts rubbing his fake tears away acting like a crybaby. great stuff...
I do expect Kermit to do better this time. He did the right thing and demand this rematch. Will he be able to execute Manny's gameplan, if he can, we have a great fight tonight!

Honestly, I don't think Cintron can box well enough to win seven rounds from Margo with a pure stick and move strategy. I think he's got to plant his feet, win the important heavy exchanges, then get the hell out of firing range. The more energy he wastes circling, the easier of a target he'll become late.

But you just know Steward is going to have him out there throwing a jab and moving. That's not going to be enough over twelve rounds.

I picked Cintron in this one. He has really grown as a fighter since getting embarrassed the last time...I just dont see the same outcome (as I feel Margo may have slipped a bit). If and its a big if, he can get past the mental thing Margo has over him....he IS the better fighter, so I could see it happening.

We shall see in a few hours tho....

    (I picked Cintron in 9)
