The Mosley win goes to show everyone the lack of talent in boxing today compared to those of the 1990's and Early 2000's. When you have Mosley and Hopkins still kicking ass, it further proves that the 90's class is underrated today. ODLH SSM Tito Vargas Mayorga Whitaker CHavez Hopkins Winky all these guys a leagues above against todays prime fighters. Margarito Cotto Williams Clottey Berto Quintana Pavlik Cintron Great win for Mosley, even though I'm a Margarito fan and was sad for Tony, I'm also a fan of the class of the 90's, and I'm glad Mosley is representing at this age.
Carlos Quintana beat Williams and is a top fighter. Cintron is also a top fighter. But none of those guys can carry the 90's fighters jock straps.
It doesn't matter. Carlos has beaten other top WW, like Joel Julio, and PW. The point is he is still on top of the class. Trinidad ODLH Mosley Hopkins Whitaker Chavez etc... Would never lose to someone like Quintana, or Collazo, or Margarito or Williams.
But it isn't fair, you just took the best guys from the 80's and 90's, and threw em against the best guys of 2008
When you have a past prime Mosley 36+ dominating the man who beat the man at 147, and even had a controversial fight against the man at 147 who are all at their peak of their careers, it goes to show you how much better Mosley is. And if Mosley is that much better at an advanced age, then how good were those who beat Mosley in his prime and beat Mosley while on roids. That's just my point.
