Look at this vid from 4:24 to 5:00.

    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HkxWdvw6MAI[/ame]

See how Pascal is clearly cool as a cucumber while Froch is doing this tough guy act while being unable to look him in the eyes, and then in the end does that awkward thing of "yeah, let's go" or whatever.

You hear the guy mention he was nervous as an amateur.

Is that a tough guy? Is that a bad ass?

Does a bad ass apologize to his wife when he loses?

I know this part will be misunderstood, because you're too thick:

People think he's a tough guy because he fights anyone but he is merely being a good boy and responding to pressure from his familly and that fiance of his.
If you watch those super six 360 episodes you can clearly tell that his mother AND his girl EXPECT a tough guy, this is the criterion under which Froch was raised, it's that type of a woman (his mom and the other one) and that type of culture.
So in his context, saying that he ISN'T gonna fight some tough guy and that he's gonna cherry pick because the tough guy is a risky fight would take MORE balls, because there's tremendous pressure on him to be a tough guy. You understand?

It's like BHop saying "**** you" to a crowd of thousands when they are booing him because he's fighting the fight his, safe way. What do you think takes more balls, to not succumb to the pressure of 10 000+ of people in the arena and x00 000 at home and just fight your way, or to get nervous and give in and try to brawl?

Signing to fight a tough guy is NOT a sign of brass balls. Golota fought Tyson, Ortiz fought Maidana, and they fought many others before those two. It's one thing to do smth while being nervous about it and quite another to do it resolutely.

Can you imagine Hopkins, Pac, Margarito etc etc. being nervous when being stared down???

Only the Brits who are nutriding Froch's last win think he is a badass.

Let's not turn this into Brits vs the rest. I don't believe, perhaps naively, that anyone thinks Froch is tough because they are Brits.

Let's not be Brits and Americans and Frochtards and haters (God, I hate that word), and let's just try to be objective.

No one hates Froch here, no one has any reason to do him or his reputation harm, and no one is his relative or friend that they would have to defend him blindly. We're just being objective here.

johnson, whats do you mean being objective, ESB hasn't been

I clearly remember before the Abraham fight when everyone had Froch knocked out, everyone except the die hard Brits, and I give them credit for that, but now all of ESB is nutriding Froch like he's the man, when they were calling him a bum before, and the brits are the worst offenders

Let's try this: Even if you think someone is being unobjective, let's try to bite our tongue, because calling someone a nutthugger or whatever will only get the person to call you a hater, it's basically the formula for every thread.

Let's just have a discussion without name calling.

Just contest, if you disagree, the points I made and the evidence I presented.

What's objective about the points you made? Analyzing the off comments a fighter makes after a loss, or the way he looks before a fight is a good way to tell how hard they are?

No one can be arsed to dignify your post with a serious response. You're basically just saying someone isn't a badass, then act like you've just submitted a thesis and want to have some sort of sophisticated discussion on it.
You've made a 12 year olds post, no matter how much you dress it up, so expect 12 year old responses.

To clarify one thing: I'm only using "badass" because that was the word most often used in the other, boxer with the biggest balls thread.

When we say who has the biggest balls we are saying who is the bravest with the strongest will. That's what we're discussing here, not some vague notion of "badassness" I just used that word because that's what people use.

C'mon, man, Tully, don't be a wiseguy. Humor me, what about the rest, but seriously.

    I'll waive my 1.000.000,00 GBP.
