That wasnt my point was it. Why not read my post for what it is/was instead of adding YOUR interpretation to it.
I agree, if he constantly takes championship level fights elsewhere, good for him, I hope he does. His past shows that he will mix championship level fights with average to horrible fights. Him fighting Zulu is a waste of his career, and not what a champion does. If he keeps fighting Arlovski's and Barnetts, I'm all for it. I would like to see him fight Lesnar, but it isn't the only fight out there. Who's HW division is better? If the UFC HW's suck so bad, then Fedor just beat two shitty fighters. That just isn't the case. What organization has a better HW division? Brock signed with K1 first because the UFC wouldn't sign him without a fight. If he wanted to stay with K1 he could have, I don't see what your point is? Brock is with the UFC because it is the best option for him in pretty much every way: money, competition, exposure. Best fighter right now is not semantics. Fedor is the best fighter in the world, but in order for that to remain true, he has to fight guys who have a chance to prove him wrong. You take his ATG status and think it means he will be the best HW fighter forever; it doesn't at some point somebody is going to be better. He beat Arlovski, he was going to fight Barnett, that is what the fans want to see, Fedor fighting the best fighters in the world. What the fans are worried about is Fedor taking 2 1/2 years without doing it. In the UFC he would not be able to take 2 1/2 years without taking a world championship level fight. As it is now, nobody knows for sure; its looks like he wants to fight championship level fights, but his past has shown that he doesn't always do that. As for you not hating everything about or associated with the UFC, your posts tell the story. As the largest organization, it is the standard bearer; you obviously have some sort of emotional problem with that.
on your first point scurla your absolutely right he wants none of brock. on your second point brock is under contract dummy probably auto renews every year while he is champ. you little fedor fanboy if you dont like the ufc so much why even bother with it. you hate brock and cant stand that he is ufc champ and has looked so dominant in doing so. youve probably picked against him in every fight so far with your rage against him and the ufc building up more and more. i enjoyed pride f.c. it was a great org but they just couldnt make it work i dont know whether they were bad business men or if the rumors of shady underworld dealings were true or not but the company FAILED big time and were bought up by the ufc. now the ufc is the big dog on the block selling ppvs with 1.5 million viewers while affliction sold 150 k ppvs and are dead, bodog probably not even 100k ppvs and died, i am sorry that pride went away too scurla now all i can do is watch fights on the net when i can but dont be angry about it dana is just trying to make you the best fights. he is doing it for me, you, beebs, liger and all the other mma fans who want to see the best fight the best. thats why he resigned tito, belfort, hendo, franklin, and tried his ass off to sign fedor. im sure when their contracts are up he would try to sign overeem, rogers, werdum, monson and any other major heavy he can get. your anger is misplaced my friend like i said we are all angry that pride is no more but thats no reason to hate on dana, brock and the ufc and also anyone that likes to enjoy the ufc's fights and isnt scared to say so. in closing scurla as ari would say you just need to hug it out ***** :grouphug
Dont post retorts to me. Pretty much everything you write is pish and hyperbole. It really doesnt interest me.
Because, obviously, he'll make a shitload more money in the UFC and the best competition (besides Fedor) is in the UFC.
I agree that best ever doesn't have to be best right now. Think of Jordan in Wizards, he wasn't best but it was pretty much set in stone that he is GOAT. But on the other hand, Fedor IS GOAT and he IS best right now. There shouldn't be a damn question on anyones mind. Until Fedor fights bums couple of times in a row and Lesnar beats GOOD names for couple of fights it should not even be DEBATED let alone ACCEPTED any other way.
So he doesn't want to disregard his in order to fight the best . This argument gota be looked from both ways, everyone keeps thinking of UFC's point of perspective. Read this again in UFC perspective: Fedor doesn't want to give up his priorities(promoting M-1 and MMA in Russia) to fight the best competition(Lesnar) so he's a *****(or w/e). NONE UFC perspective: Lesnar doesn't want to give up his priorities(money, fame) to fight the best competition(Fedor) so he's a *****(or w/e). Fedor joined Strikeforce because he'll obviously make better deal for his priorities. #2 challenges #1, not the other way around.
I mean, that's not my perspective. My perspective is Fedor is turning down the offer that provides him the most money and the most exposure and the best competition, therefore he is disappointing me.
pish and hyperbole??? what have i said that was innacurate? if i see a clouded judgement i can reply as i see fit to learn other viewpoints is that not the essence of debate?:thumbsup
i agree with that but in addition im sure it would provide m-1 global with more exposure than they could ever wish for plus the money thru fedor to put on real mma shows in russia and im sure the ufc wouldve gone into russia and given m-1 a more prominent role in helping promote across that part of the world. the only ones who have lost out are mma fans we lost the ability at least right now to see the biggest name in the sport in the biggest organization in the sport
I didn't say he did. I just didn't want words put into my mouth that I thought "Fedor was a ***** for not fighting in the UFC." I was clarifying.atsch
