It's true. Canelo's ability to counterpunch with power shuts down his opponent's offense.

He is really good at that.

I've got em' 1 and 1 or maybe 1 and a draw, but not sure I want to see the 3rd one. Canelo is at or approaching his peak and I think Gennady is past his enough for it maybe not to be close now. It would just suck to watch GGG to take a beating due to match timing and world class tolerances considering he got screwed blatantly at least once in their series.

BJS would get dominated and stopped by Canelo at 168lb IMO

    LOL

Yarde wouldnt kill Smith. No Way. I would have Smith as the favourite to win the decision in that one, following a warm up fight at 175.

Joe Smith Jr yes nukes him.

Canelo is clearly a better fighter today than three years ago.

LOL, not only did GGG lose to Canelo, but he lost to Daniel Jacobs and Derevyachenko.
.......get out of here with your nonsense.

GGG did NOT lose to Jacobs or Derevyachenko; you bias is showing. Canelo has a case for winning but a small one at that.

He was at the beggining of hitting his peak stride when he took on Golovkin and I'd say about now he is well into that stride at the window where the peak is clearly visible. While Canelo has gotten better, Golovkin has commenced his downslope.

.......and let me add the fact that Canelo is eons above the level he was when he fought Mayweather, I'm talking eons, Mayweather fans dont quite get that. There is a reason that after Mayweather beat Pacquiao, Canelo put it out there he was willing to face Mayweather if he was up to it, but of course we know he was not. LOL!

I believe its just a lump from the massive shots Canelo was landing in that spot.
Canelo actually said post fight that their plan was to target and hit Callum's left arm as a way to debilitate it later in the fight.
Few fighters make such types of game plans, one that I remember was Chris Byrd. Byrd who was not a big puncher confessed to tageting opponents rotator cuffs. Thats how he beat Vitali Klitshko when Vitali retired on his stool when it was so painful for him to throw a punch with that arm he decided not to risk damaging it further by continueing in a fight he Vitali was dominating.

Not only was he starting to peak but he was moving up in weight without truly acclimating. We saw a much more acclimatized Canelo in the rematch.

This version of Canelo beats GGG even worse.

Honestly GGG should just avoid Canelo for his healths sake.
