I think he is talking a hell of a lot of sense. But I still think 6 months to a year (max) and 3 european/world level fighters. Price is no kid. He has vast amateur experience. He has the skills. Don't wait 2 years when the kilitschkos will likely be retired. What do you think?

I highly doubt either Klitschko would fight Price now anyway

I've got a feeling Price will just wait it out. The Klitschko's will be gone in a couple of years anyway IMO, Vitali even sooner. If he fought either of them now, he'd be beaten comfortably for me.

I've been sceptical of Price so far, but last night he did impress and moved up in my estimation. He put together punches fluidly, and his power is great. He threw some great variety for a heavyweight, and he bossed the fight.

The questions that remain for me are:
How will Price deal with guys who are more inclined to get inside, or smother him at higher levels. His power comes from him setting his feet really solidly and wailing. Sexton gave him so much time by standing in range and covering up. Will he be able to smash guys around who don't give him time, or who move quickly on him and try to keep him off balance?

Can he perform over the distance? His shoulders looked a little tense to me at times, and he puts everything into his shots. If somebody can live with his power, or make him miss, will he fade?

How will he deal with somebody who can bang, or has a more educated offense? I was impressed with his defense last night, but I didn't think Sexton offered too much for him to worry about. His elbows did splay a little bit at times (possible accentuated by his long arms) and with that lead left held out, I wonder if somebody quick and explosive wouldn't be able to slip it and land the overhand right. The chin is still a bit of a question mark.

Level of competition. It is getting better, but so far, he's been in with guys who let him be the boss or lose their composure (McDermott). At higher levels, he won't have as much time, respect or technical advantage. But, to be balanced, he's passed every test so far with flying colours.

There is such a huge drop in levels after the Klitschkos that I'm struggling to think of anybody that they could possibly match him up with thats any good at all. Anybody thats not dog muck somebody already has a vested interest in protecting.

I wish Maloney moved to 5, Price V's Fury on 5 would do 10 million but they won't fight each other now.

I think Pulev will be a tough fight for him. If he can do a job on him I'll be very impressed.

The thing that impressed me last night was how he can shorten the right hand when he needs to. Its not just something he needs to maintain space in order to use effectively like a lot of right hand happy bangers.
