Hank was really fun to watch, carved of iron and had a prototypical Toney-esc defence. He did, however, lose to just about every fighter he fought who was close to elite. And he was really a MW.

Kovalev, of the Hopkins fight, jabs his head off and takes a wide UD.

Hank is nice, good boxer, keeps his feet under him, good body mechanics, good balance, shifts his weight, moves just enough to make his opponent miss, etc. An excellent fighter with all of the skills.
Too small for Kovalev who was probably 185-190+ on fight night, while Hank could probably make 154 with a day before weigh in. But Hank has the skills to give anybody his size problems, and with a full training camp and proper preparation would be interesting for anybody at 154-60.

I tried to start a thread on Hank befor. I enjoy watching him alot. Always liked the low left slicksters who could stay center ring and really bang.

Idk. Kovalevs punch variety was so limited it's hard to see him connecting with any frequency o someone seasoned with this style. Would kovalev be a lhw back then? Would Hank be a lhw now? Hard to say
