Wouldn't happen. Oscar at welterweight could not handle Hearns jab or power. Bad matchup for him.

That manly expression does not help his case.

I'm a fan of Oscar, however. He has a good chin, good boxing skills, good handspeed, great left hook, little too tense in the ring, but otherwise a great fighter. I daresay I rate him higher than most.

None of these qualities help him much against Hearns, though. Hearns can outjab DLH, and behind the pricks lies a cannon in wait. Oscars vaunted left hook would be a non-factor. Hearns is faster, and has no gap to cross. While Tommy carries his left low, DLH is a natural lefty and his right is inferior to the rest of his arsenal, so this would give Hearns only real vulnerability a safety cushion.

While DLH will surely be in the fight much longer than Cuevas, in a way he has even less of a chance to win. He has no real weapons to threaten Hearns with. His only gun is the left hook, in the other corner resides an elite platoon of special forces.

Not a good foil for Hearns at all.

Not really. Most fighters pre/post Hearns would lose to him. Duh! please commit suicide
