This Haney 112-112 card reminds me of Glen Feldman's 115-113 for Joshua-Usyk

Devin Haney jumped on the ropes to "celebrate" and was so wobbly he couldn't stand up after getting hammered for six rounds in a row. Everyone knew he lost. He knew he lost. Why did he celebrate? He was hoping he might get bailed out by bags of cash given to corrupt judges. And he almost did. They needed one more judge on the payroll to achieve a majority draw despite a dominant performance. The DAZN fighter on the DAZN card with the bright future was supposed to win.

It reminds me of a fight two years back between Usyk and Joshua. Despite dominating, and I mean absolutely dominating the fight, there were inexplicably two cards reading 115-113 Usyk. This surprised me as I thought Usyk won at least 9 rounds in a 117-111 type of fight. What left me shocked was the card 115-113 for Joshua. Again, he is the DAZN fighter on the DAZN card. He was supposed to win.

There's something detestable about very good fighters being made out as great by the boxing industry. The fans that happily choke it down and even defend it are part of the problem too. That said, it's all the more sweet when the art of boxing prevails against this establishment, and the attempted robbery is there for all to see.
