I like Paul he's very talented, I binge watched him while doing your thread, he's real good, but Inoue is special, like potentially Chocolatito special, I don't think Butler can hang with him.
I see one flaw in a few off these upcoming proffesional, Beterbiev, inoue and joshua. They all have terrific power. but they admire there own work alot. they think every punch is going to kill there opponent. And when they step in with the man who can box, defend, every punch in the book. its gonna tell trouble for em all. Joshua is lucky hes the heavyweight division and the talent is less. And you know how i like the mechanic and kovalev. they dont stop punching. thats the best way, only good counter punchers gonna beat them. :deal where as the guys ive just mentioned will get beaten to the punch over and over again, against truelly top opponents. Not that argentian dwarf i saw shuffling along.
Most of them, I'm British and have followed his career including his struggle with ***ton (much closer than the official score), his frightening KO of Ali, his domination of Kareemm his wipe out of Donnelly and his masterclass of Gonzalez...as well as his struggle with Hall. If you think you see holes in Inoue watch him put on a 1-handed masterclass against Sano, the Robinson esque hook against Chuwatana, the seek and destroy beat down of Mancio or the destructive masterclass against Hernandez.
You're again showing the fact you've not seen much Inoue. Watch his fight with Sano. Masterclass in boxing 1-handed, or his rumble with the tough Taguchi
I agree he's has flaws, as does Beterbiev and Joshua which will get AJ into big trouble I predict he seems chinny, but Inoue even with his flaws, his power seems very real, and while yes Narvaez was an old man still no one has done that to him not even a far bigger Donaire, and I think that Inoue has the intelligence to be able to adjust when he can't get his opponent out with one punch.
I must admit I'm a bit unknowledgable with the very lower weights, but usually the talent is very and far between. Inoue showed he was a big puncher against an aging man, when has beating an old man ever been a great feat. Especially in the lower weights, where you need speed above all. I'll watch the rest of this inoue tomorrow, but although he has just kicked 2 oldies asses. It's a different prospect fighting a fresh hungry talented fighter like butler, with all the attributes. Id like to see this japanese follow go upto bantam weight and snatch a title.
You and me both, I'm no whiz in the area but I've been trying to sharpen up on the lower divisions for the last 2 years or so, I've mainly followed Featherweight and up, but thus far Inoue has been damn impressive, and even for an Argentine midget Omar has never been obliterated like that before, in fact he to my knowledge has never been down Inoue is like a Flyweight Beterbiev but I could be getting ahead of myself, but he seems like the real deal.
Inoue is nothing like Beterbiev or Joshua...Inoue has great power but it's not devastating like Beterbiev's and Joshua's. He's a more measured boxer who breaks down his opponents cleverly and strategically rather than gunning for the KO right off the bat. He's a bit like a smaller version of Usyk if we're gonna give comparisons.
