Naw papi. You know Arum set up him when he was forced to drop 2 pounds and fight in Las Vegas. If the fight was in Madison Square Garden the NYSAC wouldve made sure it was a fair fight. Look how he turned the table against Margarito in NYC. :deal

Cotto really does have what it takes to beat anyone except for one vital thing. Confidence. Once he's confident vs he can beat just about anyone.

Margarito and Pac destroyed Cotto. Cotto has nothing left which is the only reason Void is fighting him. Notice that Void still refused to fight Pac and always will. I knew that years ago.................

  4. - Floyds stamina is better, Floyd usually has enough generalship to cut down on burning energy
    - Suits mayweather fine
    - He's not smarter than Mayweather
    - Floyds footwork is better than most opponents he's fought
    - Floyds arsenal has been mastered no contest
    - wtf

Im a Cotto fan Not a fan of Floyd but Cotto is just overmatched

The original post was made after he fought Margarito, not when he became a Floyd opponent. This was made as a comparison to the Cotto that first fought Margarito.

Floyd is better at many things, but Cotto is much more of a man than Floyd will ever be.

B.S. I'm a Floyd fan but don't try to feed the public this is a better Cotto. The same arguments that I made when Pac fought Floyd's leftovers---Hatton, DLH, Mosley, JMM still apply. People don't magically get better at this stage in their career. Cotto is OVERRATED. He beat a cheat without loaded gloves. That's the only thing he's done. His other two notable wins were beating an old Mosley and Judah by low blows. Not exactly an elite resume.

I think he looked better against Mayorga than Mosley did. And he looked more confident and more composed against Margo than a lot of people expected. Between the two of them, they won maybe 25% of the completed rounds they boxed against Cotto in 2011.

I'm not sure if Cotto is physically any better than he was a few years ago. But over the past couple of fights, he's been pacing himself better, fighting smarter, and making less mistakes. So if/when Floyd beats him, it'll be due to Mayweather's strengths, rather than Cotto's deficiencies....and it'll be an impressive feather in PBF's cap, should that occur.

Three years elapsed between fights, but honestly, it was pretty much the same Mayorga in both fights. He was what he always was, and always will be...a free-swinging brawler looking to turn the fight into a brawl. Cotto managed to avoid that, for the most part, and managed to pick apart his foe and ultimately stop him without too much controversy. Not a great win...But not completely meaningless, either, because there was a time when Cotto would have taken a lot more punishment than he did that evening.
