I've always said this as well. for all the years this fight was talked about, I felt that Floyd was just a horrible matchup for Manny. But after their recent performances. I'm starting to question myself. I used to think a guy like Maidana was tailor made for Floyd as well. Hell, Erik Morales boxed the hell out of Maidana, and other than getting hurt in the end of the fight, Khan absolutely thrashed Maidana. Floyd isn't the fighter he used to be, and he hasn't seen fast footwork in a LONG time. This fight will be close.

Floyds legs aren't what they used to be but they aint GONE, his last fight he used his legs for 12 rounds straight. pac hasn't been moving much lately.

I see both Floyd and pac being a lot more flat footed in this match which makes it a much better fight. I also believe Floyd beats pac in a fire fight. Floyd is so much more of a bad ass than he has needed to show in a decade

I always said Oscar, Hatton, and Cotto were all wrong for Pac and would destroy him even at 70 percent of themselves.

I always said if he fights JMM at welterweight or Morales at feather they would be easy fights for Pac.

I always said Madaina was made for Floyd, such easy work. I always said Morales would get KOed by Madaina.

That's why guys have to actually fight. Pac has a great chance here, but he had a much better chance in 2009 when he was indestructible and tireless.

 

Cannot wait for this fight, at least then this kind of re****ed opinion will have been completely dispelled.

 

I agree. Mayweather maybe loses 2 rounds early on but will figure out Pac and time him. Unless Floyd's legs are shot, he'll win easily.

 

Floyd's decline is over exaggerated. Watch Floyd vs Judah and Floyd vs Guerrero side by side, Floyd is a little slower but fights smarter, essentially the same level though after all these years. Pac has declined a lot more.
