This is all Floyd Mayweather has to do if he thinks he deserves the lion's share...

You moron. You devoted an entire paragraph on stating why old rich businessmen blow money and gave a thousand examples that where UNRELATED TO THE BUSINESSMEN DOING BUSINESS!

FMJ gives food away, has charity dinner dances, participates in the make a wish foundation, gambles for fun, etc... What the hell does that have to do with him accepting fight terms that make ZERO sense?

Boxing? That is his BUSINESS and when doing business he is shrewd and pragmatic... as he should be.

(The big words are just making you look even sillier.)

That is how boxing purses are calculated fool. Before taxes and expenses.

So now let's take your same example and apply it to Manny's earnings:

    -- +20% to Bob Arum
    -- X% to his team
-- 50% of what is left in taxes to the US
-- Y% to the government of PI

So using that equation how much do you think Pac is banking?

He's saying 60/40 will result in the fight not getting made. Why not increase his self bet to recover the 10% while ensuring the fight happens. The reason why he wouldn't do this though is the same reason the fight hasn't happened yet. Floyd's scared.

Argument on who is the bigger draw is subject to objectivity. As juggernaut said before this is already a fragile negotiation and for Floyd to offer 60-40 is just absurd.

*****s will come back and say...well stupid look at the numbers.
Its like comparing MJ to Kobe..you have stats to back up the argument but there are still things to consider that can sway the argument to either side.

In this case we are sure that right now both men are the top 2 in the sport and there is no clearcut argument on the split, I would say 50-50 is the best way to make this fight happen.

No it isn't fool. We can figure it out by totaling up gate and PPV buys. Who wins? Money talks and BS walks.

What things to consider? Put them out there *******.

There is a clearcut argument fool! The dollars generated per fighter! You *******s just chose to ignore facts.

yeah but you're pretending he is drawing on his own.
    It is all subjective.

There is 2 people and 2 fan bases.

Floyd vs no names doesn't draw.

Anyone getting tired of this ****ing drama? Just get in the ring and fight . This is boxing, and potentially the biggest fight in history. Just accept 50-50 stfu and fight you greedy cocksucker.

    See I'm the fool now.:rofl

You can total PPV and gate buys all you want but the fact remains that Floyd did not get in the ring alone. He boxed with somebody and that contributed to selling the fight. Not just that a lot of other factors cotributed to selling the fight, when it happened, where etc...

Like I told you, you can twist this anyway you like to favor whichever fighter, that's why the easiest way to make this fight is 50-50. Don't get too worked up dude, it's not your money we are talking about.

No I am not. We can compare many ways. Chronologically. Common opponents. Pac loses every time.

One guy seems to be able to motivate fanbases, either his or his opponent's, to buy more than the other guy.

Mosley is a "no name". He has NEVER been a big earner! The dude was on a "masters tour" before facing Margarito. :patsch

    It's all subjective bro.

It's like saying "berber and ali didn't draw, but berber and tyson did, so tyson outdrew ali"

    It's dumb subjective bull****.

That can be said of any fighter. To gauge who is the "draw" in an event we look at the fighter's previous purses, numbers, and common opponents.

If we look at Mayweather's most recent opponent's (Mosley's) previous numbers and purses? So if we look at common opponents with Manny? It is obvious who drew in the viewers and who has the most drawing power.

If you didn't know this? You would be ignorant, but the fact that you ignore the fact and continue to hold your position makes you a fool. :deal
