Also, I think the guy with one arm who competed is/was on this forum. I think that how I found out about the fight. He said he couldn't find someone that would take a fight with him. If I remember correctly he lost by a close desicion.
I hate to say this but I was somehow wishing he got stomped and really got hurt. Just from this idea that he gives other amputees false hope that they can fight. Last thing we need is a special MMA
I think that fight was an absolutely disgusting event and should never have taken place. It gives the people that think MMA is a **** fighting event even more ammo. That was like something you would see in a circus freak show. I hope he is never allowed to fight again. I hope no one agrees to get in the ring with him.
i know this guy has lived his life defying the odds and doin **** that no one thought he could do, but sometimes you just got to know your limitations. hate to sound rude but that guy should have knocked him out so he doesnt keep trying these things. he could seriously get hurt if he keeps pursuing this. he has a full functioning brain and that he should be thankful for. there are plenty of things out there he can do.
Thats not rude thats reality. This fight never should have happened and it was incredibly pathetic. There is nothing redeeming about it whatsoever. Theres a big diffrence between insatiable drive to succeed and stupidity. What we saw there was rank stupidity. I dont find it commendable in the slightest that a guy with no legs and arms is in the ring crawling around like some weird urchin in an attempt to try MMA against a guy who isnt disabled. That fight could have gone woefully bad for him. There was nothing stopping that guy from smashing the **** out of him or an adapation of rules for what was worst than a circus bout and should recieve global condemnation throughout the sport. That was truly disgusting.
WTF. That was pathetic. And who the **** would take a fight with a disabled man? That is the last thing a growing sport like MMA needs. It's still not even sanctioned in some states in the states ffs. Stupid ****s.
What was worse watching him try to pull guard? Or him scuttling around the floor like a crab? I mean even if he actually managed to corner his opponent what exactly was he going to do when he got there.. bite his ankles? Honestly never seen anything so gross in my life.
