I completely agree. The man has spent his whole career avoiding tough fights so why should he change now?
There's no one at welter that can do any more than put up a decent fight. Thurman would be in over his head. He hasn't been in with any fighter with a tenth of Floyd's skill and experience. When he loses he will lose a lot of the hype he's gained. Bradley is actually a better test for Thurman at this point. Fighting Collazo would not prepare him for Floyd. At least with Berto he has nothing to lose and he will come to fight. It's not a fight I really want to see. But, it is what it is. Floyd's already shut out his so called biggest threat.
PBF is an ATG and the best fighter of his era he will also forever own some of your favorite fighters let that sink in **** boy.:hi:
Mayweather has a few cherry picks but to say he's been cherry picking his "whole career" is nonsense.
why dont some of you ladies wait till floyd announces who e is fighting before making threads and judgements? is it that hard? if he fights mayfield or berto and puts it on ppv....you may have a small gripe but you arent bound to watch it there are rumors out there that if it is mayfield or berto that it may be on cbs.....but again....he may just be throwing these names out there for his own reasons that people have mentioned you guys sound like the same people who cried "hes fighting matt hatton or paul spadafora" years ago
Yeah, Floyd's career is a mixed bag of excellence combined with cherry picking duckery. Neither really tells the whole tale.
Actually, the main reason Floyd gets criticism is because he's clearly the best fighter of his generation, bar none. The best always have their fair share of haters. The fact that Floyd is the highest paid athlete in the world amplifies this fact. Humans can be envious fickle bunches. :smoke
