Its the same old story. Green dodgies up a few fights, mundine fights bums and dodges legitimate fights. Some accuse (guilty), some defend, but it is what it is. To Greens credit, he tries to pull his rep out of the gutter with some legit opponents, and got smashed, twice. Mundine has decided to hide. Thes two will be the subject matter for quite a while as they are the main part of the industry in Aus, for now.

 

After your gung-ho post I thought you might actually have some information to back up your claim.

But you had absolutely nothing, and as someone else pointed out, the loss to Green cost Roy a fortune in revenue in his later fight against Hopkins. A fight that was already known to be going to take place even prior to the Green fight.

You know what I think is a real shame. For over ten years Australian boxing discussion has been dominated by Anthony mundine and Danny green. But you had basically unknown Aussie fighters such as katsidis fighting the likes of Marquez, cassamayor, Mitchell , Earl, Guerrero etc. Without **** all backing from Home . Like take Daniel geale for instance, the guy just wins a world title in Germany becoming the number 1middleweight contender behind Martinez and he comes home to dumb Aussie journos asking him the same ****ing question. "how bout a fight with mundine?" how insulting. ****en gets me wild how when kats was in his prime doin a bit of damage overseas the Americans and British gave him more props cause there were too many dumb ****s here with green machine shirts

What do you want? Written confirmation? Its a forum. Facts, accusations and bull**** can be thrown all over a forum as it often is, and nothing has to be proved, or disproven for that matter. My statement is as true or untrue as the next, and there is **** all you can do about it, prove it, or disprove it. I know for a fact he took the cash, and im happy with that. I dont give a **** if you believe it or not. There is more than enough documented evidence and questionable activity surrounding the RJJ fight to suggest a thrown fight.

 

Until we see some of this documented evidence then its nothing but speculation. Nothing factual about it.

 

Pull head from ass and jump on the phone girls, i know for FACT that Lincon Hudson was telling people to put money on a first round KO that RJJ was going to throw the fight and a fix was in. I was told this first hand by a person was with Lincon Hudson the night of the fight and sat ringside, he told me exactly what happen and said he didnt belive what he was being told and was spewing he didnt put money on the first round, he said it was as clear as day he took a dive and that Danny Green is as slow as a wet fart.

You only hear sht like this from insiders but they are to much scared to speak up about what they know. Linc wont post sht on the forums about it but press him on the phone and he will fess up to what he knew.

The sad thing is i guess about 95% of aussie's don't care for boxing, they were only ever interested in mundine vs green, and as much as i like boxing it will never have much support or be appreciated in aus.
