-Cotto gets past Clottey in a close UD in June

    - Sets up a Mosley rematch in November, the same month they fought last time and gets brutally knocked out late in the fight.

I'm a big Cotto fan but I think he goes down this year. Clottey beats him, then he thinks he can pick up an easy belt fighting Berto, and Berto drops him, and we never hear from Cotto again. I hope it doesnt happen, but I can tottally see it.

that can happen for sure. if Cotto fights Mosley again then I think he gets KO. I thought the first fight was a draw but wont complain if anybody had it 7-5 for Cotto

me too. i think he's gonna have a great year as well. the only guy i really see possibly beating him at welterweight is paul williams and that fight most likely ain't gonna happen.

Clottey is going to look to make a big statement and I see Clottey coming out on top.

Cotto will soon begin to run out of fighters to fight because if he loses 2 on the spin he is pretty much demoted down a level or 2...Clottey beats him

berto's not beating cotto. especially not right now. maybe after he gets some more solid experience, but even then its a long shot.

Cotto could certainly have a banner year this year, and I hope he does, but I'm taking a "wait and see" stance.

I agree. I personally scored the first fight a DRAW but it wasn't a robbery.. 7-5 for cotto is tolerable..

After he beats Clottey and gets knocked out by Mosley in November, he will have to work his way up again so the logical fight would be against Margarito in 2010 as margo will be allowed back in the states by then...

    Margarito/Cotto rematch in May 2010..

do you see how many punches Cotto has took sie being champ?? I've seen him hurt and every fight expect for the cupcakes (Gomez, Jennings) to say Berto couldnt beat him right now is just crazy. Cotto is also a sucker for an uppercut. Look Im a rican, and I love my boy Cotto, but this could be trouble this year. if he beats Clottey then everything is good, but have you guys thought about what if he doesnt beat Clottey??? thats the question

There is a Lot of HBO money behind Cotto. The only way Clottey beats him is by KO or overwhelming superiority.

I don't think PBF and Cotto is fighting this year, PBF will definitely pull the winner of Hatton vs. PAC into a big money fight.

Cotto will beat Clottey, and probably face either Mosley or Berto for his third fight this year.
If Cotto beats them (which I'm sure he will , LETS GET IT COTTO!) and PBF doesn't decide to "retire" once again, Cotto vs PBF early 2010 for the biggest hyped fight of the year. :deal

Cotto KO WW for Unification :bbb
